This is a great tank bag! It's almost to good to true, especially for the price! I have quite a bit of motorcycle gear and Chase Harper is probably my favorite manufacturer, I LOVE that these are made in the USA 🇺🇸, the quality it top notch and their items are incredibly well designed.This bag is on the smaller/mid size at 6.8 L, perfect for a day trip, its a good size for a naked bike, sport bike, it even fits perfectly on my Honda monkey, magnets are plenty strong, no worries if you dont strap it down and you want to whip it up to 100, very secure! It comes with removable straps in case you have a non magnetic tank so I can swap it onto my dirt bike too!

I am very satisfied with this tankbag. The magnets are super strong and don't even need to use the included anchor strap. Highly recommend.

The magnets on this bag is EXCELLENT. Ive used this bag to travel across the country, fully loaded with possibly 10lb worth of stuff inside the bag and even if the bike has fallen over, the bag will not come off. Ive ridden interstate 80 - 90 mph and the bag does not budge at all. I like that i can arrive anywhere and just pull the bag off the tank to take it with me. No latches, no straps, NOTHING. If i where to ever lose this bag or someone stole it from me, id immediately buy the same exact bag again.I regularly carry my drone+remote+batteries inside of here, or i use it as my lunch box whenever i ride to my job. Excellent quality bag.

I have had this bag for a while and love the amount of stuff you can cram into it. I got rained on the other day for about 20 minutes and the inside of the bag did not get wet, granted it wasn't a pouring rain, but I did get soaked through my jacket and shirt. I have been on the interstate running 70 mph and the bag didn't budge, I did attach the "safety" strap to the steering neck just in case a cross wind get under the bag. The clear plastic pouch that you can place your phone in works to get easy access if you want to check the time or for text messages or calls. I have a cover on my phone so I can't get my home button to open the phone while in the pouch, this is not an issue for me I am out to ride, not to worry about a phone. I will purchase from this company again if I need a new bag.May 21, 2020 Update: I still think this bag is great, the update is about the clear waterproof pouch for maps or electronics. I have only used it for my iphone. The phone overheats quickly if the sun is shining on the pouch at all. I went for a ride about 2 weeks ago the temps were in the high 70's and when I stopped to check my location with my phone it had shutdown due to getting too hot. This is a small issue to me as I plan on getting a phone mount at some time. I plan on using maps in some situations, so it is good to have the pouch.February 13, 2022 Another update for this bag. I think this is the best purchase I could have made for a tank bag. If all their products are this good anyone should be happy if they purchase from them. I've had my tank bag for 4 or 5 years and I've put 30,000 plus miles between two motorcycles and this bag has ridden most of those miles, maybe the products aren't as good as they used to be, so others may not have the same experiences.June 4, 2025 I still love this tank bag. I used it two years ago when I went on an extended ride on my Yamaha Super Tenere, the first day I rode 1,021 miles. I rode in pouring rain for about 3 hours riding through the NC mountains and nothing in the bag got wet, I was completely soaked. I think the bag will last more years than I will.

Bag is very well made , materials and pockets all useful perfect size , love the color. Magnet stick like crazy , has a safety strap … ahhhhhh 😣 that has been sewn in backwards .. must have been first day on job for seamstress or quality control.. can’t put the safety strap in female buckle it’s supposed to be sewn to the bag … asked Amazon for exchange , we will see if this is a one off or they really messed upUPDATE 08/22/2024 REQUESTED EXCHANGE, IT IS A QUALITY MADE BAG. Bought this bag to use on my '83 Yamaha XJ750 Seca. Nice little bag. The magnets hold well, and I don't feel the need to use any additional straps to keep it secure. Of course, being magnetic mount, it does require a steel tank to be effective. I don't recommend it at all if you have a plastic tank.Big enough to hold cameras, GPS and other expensive gadgets that I don't want to leave on the bike when I walk away from it. I wouldn't have minded if it was slightly larger, but it is what it is. It was big enough for everything I needed, just not a lot of extra for expansion.I like that it comes with a removable strap to allow carrying it over your shoulder. I just grab it off the bike, snap on the strap, and go. However, that is also where my one complaint comes in: They made the strap waaaay too long. At its longest adjustment it would probably hang below my knees. At its shortest, it's still to my thigh. I had to do some creative looping of the strap to get it to be short enough to be comfortable. Maybe if you are 7' tall it would be good. I could probably cut it down and rethread it to make it shorter, but I haven't had the ambition yet.I haven't had it in the rain yet, so I can't speak to how waterproof it is.Overall, I am happy and expect it to last a long time.
