Update: after using these 10 times for kickboxing class, they’ve started to rip and shed the exterior. See picture attached. They were comfortable, but this is disappointing. I was embarrassed when there were pieces flapping around on them in class. I won’t be able to use these anymore.I used these tonight for the first time in kickboxing class. I didn’t even need to use wraps like I usually do with the franchise standard 12 oz. gloves. These are sturdy and supportive to the wrist and have great cushion for the fingers. They just felt good overall and fit my hand better than the pair I had been wearing. I had no issue even with my short acrylic nails. Besides that, four people came up to compliment me on these and said how much they liked them. The gold is definitely pretty and well, they just look good! They still look brand new even after a ton of punching. I’ll update the review if I notice any cracking or issues after more use.

These gloves are great. They arrived exactly as pictured, are comfortable, and easy to get on by yourself. Both my husband and I use them on our heavy (65-70lb) punching bag. They fit both of us well despite a large difference in hand size and varying levels of skill. I am concerned that the gold will start to crack or peel with longer term use, but so far that hasn't been an issue. So far these seem like a solid product.

My wife is working out at a new gym and she says her trainer is outstanding. She has really whipped into shape with this new guy - he seems to really have motivated her more than any other trainer she has had. She really enjoys spending time with him and even stays after to work out extra. One thing that he suggested to help her build her stamina and cardio is to do some more physical, one-on-one time with boxing gloves.She is working out with the gloves and they (obviously) aren't hitting each other in the face, but they are doing boxing where she is hitting the boxing bags (both the large heavy-weight hanging bags and also the fast, bouncy, smaller bags that she can hit very fast.) She is really enjoying this workout, but when she was first asked if she had any boxing gloves we did not have any, so I looked at these on Amazon and checked with her trainer to make sure they would be good.He said they looked good, and once she got them and brought them to class, he singled her out and said her gloves were the best ones. So far, even with a very busy schedule of working out with these gloves, she hasn't hardly scuffed them at all, so they are holding up very well with very little wear and tear. It is amazing really.They are a bright, shiny gold and are very eye catching, and they feel great. I tried them on myself, but they are a tiny bit small for my hands, but my wife says they fit her perfectly. She looks very good in them and she hasn't so much as broken a nail yet with them!I can't comment on whether these would be great in actual matches, but for my wife's training purposes, they are great!

If you're looking for quality that will last, move on. These are ok for light use, but just not going to last. If you're looking for quality, go for Ringside. THey'll hold up a lot better than these.

The color of these are amazing. They are really comfortable and feel great with use. They appear to be very durable.

So we have a big dog who loves to roughhouse but he always has to be gentle with us because those claws can really claw you up if he isn't careful. Since he couldn't roughhouse with our other dog (a tiny delicate, old, fragile chihuahua) we would sometimes ball our hands in fabric and wrap our arms in long sleeves or something similar so he could roughhouse harder with us and we'd be more durable, lol.So, we picked up some boxing gloves and play-fought with him and he enjoyed it and we had a lot of fun. We'd bump the gloves together and it would basically mean *ding ding, fight!* and we'd start wrestling.Fast forward to present day, our new, young puppy saw us playing like this with the larger dog and really wanted in on the action but after so many years, those old gloves were worn out. So we got these ones to use with them both and oh my goodness, they have so much fun. The smaller dog tries to take on the thumb since its easier to grab and the other tries to wrestle our other hand.I didn't think itd be very effective for a small dog since their nails don't usually hurt as much as a bigger dog's but we were surprised the small dog was so into it.Anyway, they love the gloves since it gives them a chance to really wrestle and playfight and we love it because our arms don't get scratched up from their claws.Not the way these were meant to be used but a great product nonetheless.

Soft and comfortable gloves; have good wrists support and good finger grip. Gloves look durable. They are a good fit for a larger hands and absorb shock very well.

Overall these gloves are really nice and I really love them when I ama traing. I am a amateur to boxing so these opinions are based on that point of view I have!
