Hi Catherine! There are 3 common types of Whey; Whey Protein Concentrate- WPC, Whey Protein Isolate- WPI and Whey Protein Hydrolysate- WPH. WPC has low levels of fat and carbs with anywhere from 30-90% of protein content. WPI has had all fat and carbs removed and usually contains at least 90% protein. While WPH is pretty much predigested which just means this form is easily absorb. Also just FYI, WPH is good for allergy sufferers because of its decreased allergen potential. Hope this helps.
