WOW (and still a WOW years later!! *update*)
Update Many Years Later:Still a WOW and my go to. I've moved now to a 2-story home and I've got one on both floors now, I have to see my moon! My old one broke during the move *sigh*, so I bought 2 new ones, one for my upstairs and one for my living room, right under my TV, where it always lived prior. I opted for the very first original, it's not that it's better or worse in any way, it's just what I've always had, am used to and have grown accustomed to. I was THRILLED to see it still available (round bottom, 3 color changes *white, yellow/orange & a coloring changing setting from white to the more yellow/orange color. I put both white lights on all day and the yellow/orange every night. As it was originally, it still is today, the company and product are both absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend both to anyone who would love a very special and unique, wonderful item in their home. It levitates and spins, always an eye catcher for first time visitors. I highly recommend this moon, by this company to anyone who wants a GREAT product that will last for MANY, MANY, MANY years and an absolutely wonderful company to purchase from.-----------------------------------------Original Feedback:For the novice levitating item purchaser, this can take a bit of getting used to and learning with regard to getting it to levitate. However, once you do, and the seller is amazing, simply amazing with regard to helping, teaching, communication and so much more, you'll get the groove in no time. It's the center piece of my credenza and has everyone who's seen it so far mesmerized. It's a showstopper for sure, but for me, even more ... I'm a moon lover and have been since I was a wee little one many many decades ago and to have the moon right in my living room is the most beautiful and wonderful feeling. It's an absolute talk of the town type of item, beautifully designed and crafted and I couldn't be more thrilled. The only thing that I don't love about it is that there's no on off switch. You can easily turn the light on and off, but the moon continues spinning - which isn't only caused by the magnet itself, but also by it being plugged in. So, the only way to fully shut it and not keep using electricity 24/7 is to unplug it. With it on my credenza, unplugging it means having to catch the plug before it fallls behind it, and then leaving it pushed under the stand so it won't go anywhere. An on/off switch would make this perfect and allow the customer to not only enjoy this one of a kind amazing product, but also save on the electric bill, while also not overusing the product and possibly wearing it out overtime. Aside from that one thing, I highly recommend it to anyone who loves the moon, loves gadgets and would love to have something in their home that most people have never seen before. It truly is beautiful and magical. It's well worth the cost, it arrived on time and packed perfectly and during some issues I had at first, the seller was amazing and responded immediately - zero wait time on response - and helped right away. Definitely a big thumbs up and huge recommendation.

Bright, beautiful, levitating Globe Exceeds Expectations.
Love, love, love this levitating globe! It looks beautiful and works perfectly. It took me a while to find the “sweet” spot for floating but once you find it, you’ll have little trouble again. I love the way it lights up and the remote control. When I had a questions the seller was immediately responsive.

It started to melt...
I bought this as a gift for my sister. Just because. She was so excited when she got it, and so we unpacked it, (it was well protected) read the directions, and plugged it in.As I was getting the feel for the magnets, and trying to get it centered so it would levitate, I noticed a strong plastic burning smell coming from the base. As I continued trying over and over to get this to levitate, and my sister tried as well, I noticed the top of the base, the plastic, starting to deform in the center. So I touched it and it was not warm as the manual says it may be, but it was down right hot!!The plastic top was melting. This product was defective from the start...and we never got it to levitate. Not only was I embarrassed that I bought a gift for my sister, not something I do often, and it was defective, I am very disappointed in the product, and have lost confidence in that company as well.I will be returning it and investing in another brand, if I can find one to trust.

I love it.
Didn't come with a remote. Awesome product. When I received it, it was open. It's so cool I figured someone at the post office perhaps considered stealing it. But it was so difficult to get it to work for the 1st time, I almost thought it was broken. Maybe that's what the potential thief thought too. Afte so much effort I was finally able to place the globe perfectly in the magnetic field and enjoy the lamp. Perfect for a gift.

It’s cheaply made (3d printed) and rotates the wrong way.
Love it. Super easy to levitate. But no matter how hard i try, it always ends up spinning the wrong way (clockwise). I don’t know how to fix that. I know only one side of the moon is ever facing us, but it would be nice if it at least rotated the right direction.

Hard to Get Levitated
It was frustratingly hard to get it levitated. Every attempt just had it getting sucked back to the base. I found a trick that works for me and now it takes about a minute to get it holding again. The magnetic force keeps it spinning even if it’s rotating a different direction, it will begin to rotate the correct way. So once you get it up, don’t touch it.It’s actually really cool. The 3D print looks realistic at a slight distance (like from your bedside table to your bed). In fact, it almost looks holographic from there. There’s a sequence to hit the power button which activates the light in different modes (white, yellow, or slow-changing back and forth from white to yellow). Unfortunately mine just wants to always change back and forth from white to yellow. Not a big deal, but between that and the levitation being so hard and frustrating to get at first, I only gave it 4 stars. Also, the moon floats with or without power (magnets, of course).

Just have patience and you will find the sweet spot.
Hard to mount and takes a steady hand. If the base gets too hot then you can’t mount the ball to its base and could be frustrating. Just unplug and let it cool down and start again. Kids and neighbors love it! Very fascinating!
