So cool / well designed and whoa battery life lasts amd lasts!
Great product. Got this to power a portable mini amp and a few pedals and it lasts me almost the entire day[6-8hrs plus]. Like the description says depending on how many pedals or whatever you're plugging into it will vary how long it'll actually last but ive been getting really good battery life. To be accurate as possible there are times I'm not playing and the battery is on still powering everything so it's not like straight non stop playing but still I'm probably averaging 4 to 5hrs of actually playtime and the rest it's still powered on while I'm juat walking around. It does take a while to charge but it's a fair trade with such a long battery life.Size wise this thing is also amazing. I built a backpack rig to house a mini amp and this battery and it's small size helped tremendously make a manageable setup whilebeing lightweight so I can carry it around all day. Plus this thing is designed so well it's sturdy and I've noticed it doesn't really get hot at all. This was probablymy biggest concern because of how long i keep it powered on but its been cool and warm but nothing that would warrant fear of accidental fire or melting of my rig/backpack.

Works Great- No Hassle...
I have one of the original Volto's on my bass pedal board and I bought this new one for my guitar pedal board. I have 4 pedals on each. I can easily get 3 hours of gigging time on a single charge. The best part is that my output from the boards is dead quiet with no noise induced from a 120V wall adapter.

Finally...Freedom FROM scrambling to find a stinking AC outlet on stages we play
pretty damn easy to charge, to use and an a handy velcro install to your pedal board. I was surprised at how lightweight this thing is..?? I really like it and so far seems to handle 6 mini pedals and 3 standard sized with no trouble for 70mins of playing. (just calculate the milliamps of your pedals vs what this batt can handle and you're good) BUT... these batteries are EXPENSIVE. I think $100 is honestly way too much for this technology. I have no idea how long the unit, it's casing and tech will perform without issues...? only had it a month. so far so good. I'll buy another one when they offer them at a fair price.

USB in broke in 4 days
I redid my pedal board for an opening band tour support slot... so trimmed down to necessities, smaller nano+ board 4 pedals.. thought this would be a good power choice small, lighter than one spot brick no cabling to FOS power. Gig 2 power went out before first song while tuning.. it's really difficult to discern if 3 bars are illuminated or one because of the way it's backlit. And had run previously for a gig and a soundcheck - so was on about1.30hr of the 12 advertised. So I ran guitar straight into amp that night..not how you want to start a show. 4th gig went to plug in and found USB in had broken off into the unit. Was not really roughed up that I can tell... was kept in nano+ padded bag. Seems more cheapily made or prone to damage than any number of external hard drives i've plugged/unplugged 1000 times. Its a nice idea I guess, but honestly not really useful to touring musician as it needs an overnight charge and you have enough to look after with phone, computer, gear in room, where's my toothpaste etc.. secondly it's build quality wasn't up to snuff - usb somehow got crunched velcro'd underneath board in padded bag stacked in van. As I'd left my main power at home, somewhere in Idaho (?) I hit a guitar center and bought a 1spot daisy chain - another 50 bucks wasted. Pedaltrain has offered after my emails to replace the busted usb if I send in... which I'll do and then quickly try to sell used unit to someone i hope doesn't read this review.

Liberating! (With updated info)
I love not having to get power to the front of the stage for my pedals! I also love having them isolated from sometimes noisy AC circuits, or creating ground loops with the amp and pedals on different circuits.Update June 2020 - the USB charge port broke so now there is no way to charge the unit. It was great while it lasted, very liberating as I said earlier. But it is definitely not built for the rigors of the local bar circuit, much less real touring. Great idea, but mediocre implementation. Do not rely on this for gigging!

Good product.
Works great, long life for the pedals I use. Fits under pedaltrain. Does what it is supposed to.

Best Pedal Accessory on the Market!!
This little green machine has made my setup and tear down a dream during live gigs! Its been a long time that a gadget for my rig has made such a difference for my sanity. For years I’ve searched for that damn outlet on stage for my power wall wart! Those days are behind me! Thank you Pedal train!

Great solution for small pedal boards!
I have a Shure GDLX and Fishman Aura DI running off of this battery pack. It lasts easily for a 3 hour gig on a full charge. If you turn it off during set breaks, it will obviously help your battery life. Would highly recommend this for a small pedal board.
