Works efficiently and effective
Purchased this drive to expand the internal capacity for my PS4. Of course, that meant I had to purchase an ssd adapter case. In the end, it functions well with no major issues. Thanks to this being a First Gen ps4, I'm not able to take advantage of the faster speeds with this type of drive but its faster than my old regular SSD.

How big do you want it?
The media could not be loaded. They have plenty of sizes to use. I took this card, & installed it in to my mini computer. The computer is for the 3d printer. This card is to add software & to hold some files for printing.I am super happy that this came extra fast after the holidays! Nearly a week faster! It was nicely packaged in a bag for recycling (yea).Installation was super easy. You can watch my install video here. It is, on installing the card into the mini computer. You can add the NVME drive how ever you may like.Formatting & installing files was as easy as any other internal drive. Do keep in mind that you need to let Windows know you put it in. Reboot. I cold reboot when installing drives internally. Cold reboot means to shut off the computer. After the set-up, I was installing files & software. This is a very nice drive. I had thought about the other drives, & may get a larger one still. I'll see.Five star reviews should be earned, & this card gets that! The company sent it along quickly, & it took the files like they belonged there. However you use your card, is up to you. I don't see there is any problem at all with these. I would imagine they install in to readers just as well as internally.Good luck on your installation. I, am super happy these things offer so much space & speed. I was talking about it the other day with somebody.

Great quality and reliability, even for an older standard connector!
I use these to refurbish Dell Wyse thin clients into Windows 11 purpose-built machines and these SATA SSDs are a great upgrade over the built-in eMMC drives, adds more than enough storage at a reasonable price, and have never failed me, or failed to be recognized at full capacity. The common issue I've seen is people don't realize there is a difference between M.2 SATA SSD and M.2 NVME SSD, even though they often fit in the same connector on the motherboard. It is important to know what your motherboard requires and you match it with the correct hardware.

Working was expect but not as fast as some SSDs
Working was expect but not as fast as some SSDs. Will update review as the SSD ages, since some SSDs age poorly over time.

Good for my Pi4 setup.. in ARGON one case..
Bought this because it was "CHEAP" and had some decent space..I am using this to boot a Raspberry PI 4 - installed into ARGON one case..the SD card I used to boot the PI from was getting "old" and well things was just taking longer and longer..So decided to upgrade to a M.2 style boot option (technically USB boot) - the ARGON one case I purchased was an all in one kit that worked with this style m.2 Drive.. its cheap, its decently fast (USB3 speed limits) and has more space then then the PI needed.. so I also made some of the space into a Network share folder for all my PCs.. on top of the PI already being the Unifi controller / Pi-hole / network share printer (cups) / etc and etc.. lol basically a PI can do allot for a home network..Would buy again for future PI project - if I ever get my hands on more Raspberry Pi's..

Just worked on an off-brand laptop
I bought this to repair an off-brand laptop for a neighbor. The original SSD had failed, and the laptop in question required a SATA based M.2 SSD. This dropped right in and allowed a clean installation of Windows 11 from Microsoft's official ISO.

Drives fail, and warranty shipping and customs cost more than buying one new
Cheap drives, which is great from a price perspective, but they don't come close to the 3 year life that is mentioned in the warranty. I think they need to look into their supply chain, as the failure rate is very high. Had one working on a system with low volume read/write failed in less than a year. And browsing the reviews I'm not an anomaly. If they could last 3 years the value would be there, but worth spending a few more bucks to buy something that can last a while. IMO
