Eye relief is great and sturdy tripod is a bonus
Took this spotting scope to the shooting range with expectations it would live up to my needs. It did. Besides the clarity and magnification, the most crucial feature for me is eye relief which is not a problem with this scope even when wearing eye protection. Users with prescription glasses should have no problems using this scope. This is what attracted me most to this scope and I'm very happy to confirm it lives up to the claim.Another pleasant feature is the tripod. My local range provides individual tables built to heights that can vary between 2 to 4 inches. While seated with the scope on the table to my right, I fix the handle of the tripod at an angle leaning towards the 9 o'clock position; thus able to avoid needing to stand up to use. I take a shot, put the firearm in safety, turn to my right and peer through the spotting scope fixed on my target without needing to stand looking down into the eyepiece. The legs of the tripod has a decent spread and built sturdy enough to support angling the scope toward the 9 o'clock (90 deg) position without fear it would tip over. If these two points are important to you, you can't go wrong with this scope. Highly recommended

Not worth it to me.
The reviews on this are mostly positive, especially "for the price" so I decided to give it a try. It's got a really nice feel to it. The focus knob is in a good place, and it has a mount so I can use my own tripod. Good magnification small package... would be a great scope if it would focus. Now, if I just wanted to know "what that thing is over there" this would do it. I can read the neighbor's license plate, even though the letters are doubled. And at this price I don't expect crystal-clear images, but no matter what I did the image was always doubled, either horizontally or vertically. And balancing the two directions just made it blurry. So, ok, any manufacturer can have a bad one, so I ordered a replacement. Same issue. Waited for better light to try again on a nice sunny day and I can say that when the sun is shining perpendicular to your line of sight it seems to be better but the double image is still there. Right eye, left eye, camera eye, it's always there. I strongly considered trying a 3rd time because it fits everything so well. It would be a perfect spotting scope. But I think I'm going to try something else. Maybe you'll have better luck. Some people definitely do from the other reviews.EDIT: After I wrote this, and obviously before shipping, I took the scope out at night and tried it on the moon. The image was reasonable at low magnification. I was not able to focus on Jupiter to be anything more than a bright area in the view. I also saw some turkeys in the field across the road and was able to identify the blue head. The last scope I had was very similar to this, but it had alt/az tracking knobs. I didn't realize what a difference that would make for celestial viewing. That one had a crummy tripod, and was one reason I was so hopeful about this one since I could use my own tripod with this one.

Good for the price
This is a fine scope for the price. Tripod is cheap, but does work. Scope itself is great at 25X but image quality diminishes as power is increased, as one would expect. You will pick & choose the days you can utilize 75X.On a bright, dry, clear day, 75X is very good, but not excellent. On a humid cloudy day, 75X suffers & gets hazy, again as one would expect on a $100 scope.I can easily see .22 holes in a target at 200 yards. Not sure beyond that.I’m very pleased for the money & I will be looking through this scope very intermittently. NOT for long periods of time. The smaller size & light weight is very appealing to me, as it fits in my shooting range tool box. My old scope is far too big.Very handy scope to pack along on a hike, for casual enjoyable viewing. Not a serious study scope.Target shooting - yes.Scanning for elk - NO.Casual moon & star gazing - yes.Star study - no.Casual bird watching - yes.Intense bird study - no.Again, fine scope for the dollar, keep your expectations real. It’s not going to be comparable to a $500 scope, which buys greater clarity, which equals extended viewing time, due to less eye strain.Fully analyze your intended use, before buying.

Great scope for the price!
I tried several less expensive scopes, trying to find one I can use at the range and for casual wildlife or lunar gazing. For the price, this scope delivers a clear image and has quality construction. All more inexpensive scopes will loose their sharpness at the higher power but this scope had the clearest image, with some fringing, at the highest power. It is lightweight and the tripod, while not the most expensive, is actually very good for the price mark. It was very stable on the range table and the handle tightens/loosens easily to adjust your view. At 200 yards I ranged in on a light post in my neighborhood. The image was clear and sharp, and I easily could read the 4-6 inch letters/codes on the post. At the 100 yard range, I could see small .22 caliber holes easily and clearly on the target. For the moon, I only used the 25 power but the image was clear. For higher power lunar gazing, I'd need to try a larger more stable tripod. Overall, this scope delivers as promised, it is well built and for the price (again this is not your high end optics) it is more than adequate for your casual range or outdoor wildlife viewing needs. 5 stars!

Zoom lens wouldn't work till I fixed it
The scope was packaged very good . The zoom lens was not working till I finally started to look at it seriously. The lens itself was very loose till I un-screwed it out and re-screwed it in tight by hand. Thats whenI discovered it finally working. Had put it up for a few weeks when I had finally decided to look at it moreclosely. Glad I did. Works good now. That should have been checked before packing and shipping. Happywith it now. Therefore a 3 star rating for it.
