The one piece of advice given by those with a boundary wire controlled robotic mower, was upgrade the wire. The mower supplied wire was very thin, this replacement was perfect. Extremely robust, have had no problems with it at all.

Much thicker than the standard wire supplied.After fitting the robot mower wire a few years ago, I'd ended up having to repair it so many times it was just unreliable. So decided to replace the whole perimeter wire a few weeks ago.This wire is quite a bit heavier gauge than the original wire which I'm hoping will mean more robust. It's already proven to be better than the original - I was measuring the original with a multimeter when I first laid it and noticed a small amount of resistance (the mower requires under a certain amount to operate reliably). This when laid over the same distance showed NO resistance - which is perfect for the mower.It was easy to lay, and only fractionly harder to insert into the mowers base/docking station. If I had one complaint (and it's enough for me to knock one star off the review) it would be that the cable colour isn't dark green but quite bright. It will of course eventually disappear into the lawn as that's what these cables do, but it's still mildly irritating I can see it so clearly after laying it.Overall, highly recommended.

The media could not be loaded. Thicker than original but works. I missed 6-8 metres of the cable for the mower guide. I bought this one, connected as per manual, it works. The guide cable was connected properly but at the time of the video perimeter cable underneath the charger base prevented the mower from docking in. Fixed now.

Have bought before and it does the job well of keeping Pierre our robot lawnmower in his boundary.

Bought this wire thinking it was better than the Gardena boundary wire I had previously bought, as it was thicker and cheaper. The thick plastic coating on the wire was not compatible with the connectors for the base station. Despite striping off the plastic coating and terminating the wires they did not carry the correct voltage in the loop and as such hours wasted on using this product. I Changed the wire back to the Gardena brand and it then worked perfectly.

The reel fell apart shortly after beginning to unroll. This made it very difficult to lay as it became tangled.
