What size would fit a head 22 3/4 inches in diameter (approx. 58 cm)...a medium? would a large be too big? There is no sizing chart. Why?

It was one size fits most. I have an average head and keep my hair tight. It’s big on me. Comes down over ears. It would be a L/XL if using the Franchise/‘47 size chart for fitted ball caps.

Is this hat made without the velcro patch placement?

No it’s there but you don’t have to use it I don’t The Velcro has to be on the patch The cap just has the placement section it is soft And comfortable the zip pocket one goes in the back
