Leg developer sucks a**!!!
I just want to start off by saying the vendor is awesome, I got this about two weeks before the estimated delivery!! However, I switched from my X-Mark bench to the Gold's Gym XRS 20 Olympic Bench cause I honestly thought it would be hands down 10x better! The padding is great, very firm, unlike the X-Mark, which has way too much give! The leg curl/extension on The XRS 20 is horrible...you can barely us 45lbs plates, cause your shins are constantly hitting the plates. The bar used for thigh support is so narrow I find I have to focus on keeping my knees together for both extensions and curls. Instead of a natural shoulder width position. It is also not at the same level as the bench, so you if you do leg curls you are hyperextending your knees everytime you release the weight! The padding keeps are plastic and constantly come out of the bars! I rated this 2 stars due to my main reason for getting this bench, which was for the leg attachment. If you are getting this bench for the leg developer or to combine it with the horrible Gold's Gym XRS 50 Squat Rack(see the product page on Amazon for my review on this) then I'd suggest a different bench combo!

The best bench value out there.
Everything came quickly and we'll packaged. It's all in one box, so if you are just at the start of your fitness journey, you may want to have a friend help get the box to where you will assemble the bench. I have been lifting weights for a while; I'm no he-man and I managed everything fine by myself. Just letting you know, this is a sturdy piece of equipment, so it has some heft. The assembly is easy, especially if you have two wrenches for the bolts that pass all the way through. The instructions are clear, and the parts are well made and of durable quality.Assembled, the bench is beautiful, functional, and clearly carries all the experience of the house built on bodybuilding, Gold's Gym.The arm and leg attachment is brilliant.Everything is solid and supports lifting heavy things. The bench looks great and begs to be used.I highly recommend it. So much better than waiting in line for a chance to lay in some random dude's sweat at the local gym.

Gets the job done
I'm giving this bench 3 stars. It gets the job done, plus a little extra, but there are definitely some annoying parts about it.Assembly: The instructions were very clear, and the hardware card made keeping track of all the bolts and nuts a breeze. At minimum you will need 2 adjustable wrenches and a phillips head screwdriver. A socket and ratchet set, drill motor with a phillips head bit, and an extra pair of hands will make assembly much easier. The only problem I had was connecting the front post to the back. There is a nut welded inside a hole on the back post, and it looked like the nut on mine was off center just a little bit. Unfortunately that meant wrestling with that one bolt for 30 mins to get it threaded in properly, so I'm taking a star off for that.Quality: Honestly, could be better. The welds on this thing are pretty ugly. The material covering the bench and preacher pad is pretty thin, and I know this because the back pad came with a half inch slit on the bottom corner, exposing the yellow foam underneath. Probably could've added this in with assembly, but there is one step that requires you to use self tapping screws on the steel back post, and I hate that. Manufactures should tap the holes themselves, not make the consumer deal with it. Also, the plastic "feet" fall off every time you even think about moving the bench. I'm taking a half star off for the overall quality.Use: It's sturdy, no shake, no wobble. I can jump on it, bench press, use the the preacher curl, leg developer, ect. and I haven't once been afraid of it's stability. It's a little taller than I would like it to be. I'm shorter at 5'4", so I can't plant my feet on the floor comfortably, and use the legs instead. If the front had been square tubing, this might not have been so bad, but planting my feet on round tubing instead of a flat surface feels sloppy. The preacher curl attachment is great, but could use rotating handles or something on the grip. The way the preacher pad connects to the bench is okay (big fat hand turned bolt), but I wish they would have used a quicker connect/disconnect method like they did with the preacher handle. The leg developer is a mixed bag. A bunch of reviews mentioned that their feet dragged the ground when using the leg extension, but I have not had that problem at all. Again, I'm 5'4", so that probably has something to do with it. The leg extensions feel great. The leg curls however, it feels like the weight goes from my legs to the bench at the top of the exercise. After a certain angle the bench just ends up supporting most of the weight, so it feels like I'm only getting half a rep in. I will probably just stick to using my barbell to do hamstring curls instead of using this. One last thing in usability, I wish you could take the leg developer off easily. You can take out the hex head bolt holding it in, but if you lose that bolt you'll be SOL for re-attaching it. With the attachment it is a very long weight bench, and life would be so much easier if it were detachable. I will be taking another half star off for the problems with usability.Last Words: It's not the best, but it's not the worst. I didn't have 400$ to spend on the bench I really wanted so I got this instead. If I had to do it over again, I probably would have just got a regular adjustable bench with no developers, but that's more to do with space saving than anything particular with the XRS 20. 3 stars overall. Maybe before you buy this bench you take a look at what you really need out of the bench first.

Do not buy this machine !!!!
First of all it took about 1.5 hours to set it up , machine looks strong and to the eye you would be happy, but I would not recommend this to anyone, spend the extra money and get a well designed machine ,Leg extensions your feet bang against the lower legs , use it As a leg curl and your feet slam against the weights ,Such a horrible design this machine ,All around junk ? It’s to bad because they use good steel and it’s very sturdy and strong? But unusable with such a terrible design,Now that I have it all put together, to much work to tear apart and return , will put it in my garage sale for $50 and go buy the proper machine

TERRIBLE< CHEAP and Called CS, they did not do anything, made in CHINA!!
TERRIBLE< CHEAP and Called CS, they did not do anything, made in CHINA!!Does not come with tools to put together, screws and bolts do not fit properly, seat wobbles and missing items or came broken.Called CS 3 times, and they never made it right....As soon as this becomes completely useless, will pay for for a real bench, the only saving grace is preacher curls.

Four Stars
Sturdy bench, good value for the price. The leg extension isn't very ergonomic.

Gold's Gym XRS 20 workout bench
Great bench, but difficult to use the leg portion. Like others have stated, the leg portion is too close to the bench to use it without problems.Easy to assemble.
