Is the nutritional information listed as dry weight or prepared weight?

Hello. It doesn't say whether it is per 100grs. cooked or uncooked on the pack, so I can't help you with that. However I would have thought that the nutritional values would be the same for any kind of plain rice of this type

What is the production date of the rice? it (not a use-by date) should be on the packet. please send a picture if unsure of the japanese text.

Good question. It doesn’t say the date of the rice processed/cleaned but it only says the date of best before end...strange...

Do you have to soak rice before cooking in rice cooker?

After washing rice until water is clear, I soak rice with fresh water for 30 minutes, then drain. For the rice cooker, I use the ratio of 1.2 ml water per gram of rice. i.e for 500g rice l pour in 625 ml water,for 720g rice l use 900 ml water. Rice comes out well
