Neat small device. Solder connections so you know it’s not going to come apart. Needs a little soldering expertise so don’t be disappointed to find it does not have screw terminals. Works well with my LED table lamp.

With no simple schematic or circuit board indication, I found this difficult to fathom out which connections were the right ones out of the four possible connections . The second attempt to wire the switch in it exploded after I had unwittingly wired it up the wrong way. Unable to recommend this item.

Works perfectly! ...and it was fun to have an excuse to solder something..Cheaper to buy this and a new soldering iron than the pre-factored items generally available.

I have bought a lot of these in the past couple of years and they work fine, the only drawback is you have to dismantle them and solder the power lines into a small circuit board. not too difficult, but fiddly..Otherwise I have never had one fail and they work really well for 'Ambiance' lights with a filament bulb.

It’s crap, you have to solder the wiring into the pcb, no instructions and cheap construction, won’t be using it

It does 'connection method - welding'. For a dimmer that cost 12 per-cent of similar products, it's worth 5 minutes with a soldering iron.

Easily installed for those of us with brains larger than a grape.
