Must have item for outdoor meals!
The Dura-Tent FT-100 Outdoor Table Top Food Screen is exactly what I needed to keep the bugs at bay when eating outdoors. I ordered the picnic size. It is roomy enough for several food items on 10" dinner plates or 8-10" serving bowls to be placed inside. It fits neatly on my 24"x48" serving table, with plenty of room left on the table for utensils, plates, cups, etc.The quality of construction on the food tent is very good. Stitching is durable, as is the fabrics used. I found the food tent to take only a few minutes to assemble. Being easy to put up and take down means that I don't have to leave it up all of time. I can easily collapse it to store away for the next time. The food tent comes with a storage bag, much like a camping tent would. But unlike a camping tent, I had no trouble folding up the food tent and putting it back into it's storage bag!Pros: Roomy, well constructed, easy to assemble, stores small, two doors allow for easy access to food itemsCons: Nylon bottom must be protected from hot dishes... easy to prevent by using hot pads under hot itemsI would absolutely purchase this item again.

Awesome tent for a food station at picnics and BBQs
The Dura-Tent FT 100 was perfect for our needs. We got 2 and were able to fit a small roast pig in one and two large pans of friend chicken in the other. The tents are quite large and took up an entire picnic table together. The best part was not having to pay attention to the food all afternoon. No flies hovering and landing on our food! The only concern we had was that there is only 1 small square of velcro to hold down the flap door at the bottom edge. You can stick your hands between the tent wall and flap door. Fortunately, no flies seemed to have snuck through. Each Dura-Tent comes with a long clip-on strap for strapping the tent to a table, however, the strap only goes length-wise. We placed our tents across the width of the table, however, they were too long and hung off on each end. We had to place them parallel to the length of the table, but ended up unable to use the strap. That was just fine however, because the food we put in there was heavy enough to hold down the tent.To wrap up...great product, we would get it again! Happy picnicing!

Useful
This was useful in keeping items covered until the meal started and to keep food covered until it was consumed or packed away. I watched some guests struggle with keeping the side up as they pulled food items from the screen. I would suggest making it an open bottom so it could be pulled away during the main serving time then replaced afterwards.

Just short of magical
This food tent was a great idea. Kept all of the bugs away...skeeters, june bugs, beetles, flies, bees, moths, etc. The side flaps overlap enough, and somehow (static electricity? fairy dust? unicorn tears?) it seals up nicely enough to keep out all of the insects that we encountered.Great size; it fit over the end of the picnic table and held all our dry food (family of 3, 4-day campout) with plenty of room to spare. I'm glad I didn't get the buffet sized one; that would have taken up the entire table!1 minor nitpick: The bars for the bottom of the door flaps are about 1/2" too long so they keep sticking out. I will shorten them before next use. No big deal, but I would down-rate 1/2 star for that. Also, before next use I will cut a 1/8" plywood bottom to go under the tent so it is easier to pick the whole thing up and move it into a safe place (like the back of the SUV) at night for raccoon avoidance, without having to empty it out first.

Too much room on the table.
The item is okay but better to use individual covers so can set more items down on the table. I ended up not using it. It may come in handy later on an occasion where I do not have a lot of food on the table.

Flies Trapped Inside!
I had high hopes, we live in a country setting and probably have more flies around than someone with concrete sidewalks (I also purchased a zap racket which I love - in full disclosure of my fly hatred and issue). I took these out for a family gathering and the flies swarmed the nets and then got trapped inside the tent when someone opened the door for food. Since this food tent has a floor, you can't lift it to shoo the flies away, and it is extremely difficult to swat them out through one of the two openings, especially if there is more than one in there. I was so disappointed. I am giving this 3 stars because it may be better for someone with a casual fly problem, but mine were trapped in with the food. Gross. On a side note, it is sturdy and really well made, I don't know what that 1 star person was taking about.

A Must Have
Every so often one encounters a product that is about flawless; this is one. If you dine alfresco this needs to be on your table. It's virtues include: (1)Easy set-up. (2) Large size; those 13 inch round ones can't handle what most of us use in the real world like rectangular platters, cutting boards, etc. I put all the starters in first, then switch to the entrees when its time to eat the main meal. (3) it has a floor so it forms a solid seal against the critters even if your surface is uneven. (4) A reasonable price. This is a quality device and worth every penny. In summation: If you ever backpacked or tent-camped you will recognize this as a tent for food. There is a solid nylon floor surrounded by mesh sides and mesh doors on the two long sides. The "tent" is set-up using shock-cords just like those used on most tents. The nylon materials are top quality, as is the construction. What's not to like? In the off-season you can take your pet guinea pig or hamster camping.
