Cheap fix
I plan to redo my bathroom in a couple of years. I've already redone two bathrooms and I was not ready for another renovation yet. I bought these as a temporary face lift. I placed them over existing vinyl flooring. They are easy to cut and the adhesive seems very strong. I did have some issues getting these to stick down completely. The edges kept coming up. I'm not sure what the reasoning was. But it worked out okay. I'm overall happy with how it turned out.

Read all reviews before you buy these tiles. Be prepared.
Well I just spent a day putting these tiles down in my 5x6’ bathroom. Have to say I wished I had read all the reviews first, but I did once I got started because I was looking for tips.Black Marks. Yep, about 40% of my tiles had small black or gray smudges on the that I couldn’t remove with simple cleaners. However, Endust sprayed on a soft cloth took the marks completely off. Also took off any pencil/crayon marks I made on the tiles I needed to shape.Pattern Not Matching. Yep I ran into this after I had placed about 6 tiles. What I found was that I had to hunt around to find a tile that would work and turn each one to confirm a match to the pattern before I removed the backing. Then place the tile. This is why this project took much longer than I anticipated it would take.Cracks. The picture selling these tiles looks great, but in reality no matter how much I tried I was unable to install these tiles without obvious lines between them. Maybe if I had a completely level floor it would work better, but I was installing over tile and grout. These lines are what drove me to the reviews… how could I be the only one. I’m not. I was a bit disappointed, but this is a temporary solution for us so I am going to try and ignore it some… actually, I am going to try and fill the cracks with caulk to hide them. If that works I will post a picture.Cutting Tiles. One review said cutting was easy once they figured out the trick, but then didn’t mention the trick. What I found to work was to just score my line with a utility knife and then snap the tile like a piece of glass. Worked every time. I would shave the edges with the utility knife for more detailed fitting when my patterns failed me. Also, I had the bad luck of one of my snaps flipping over and matching glue to glue… the small piece stuck immediately and securely to the later piece. I was able to pry them apart, but about a 2” square portion on the larger tile lost all adhesive. Since I didn’t have any to spare I had to go ahead and use it.Material Needed - I was working in a room that is 30 square feet and of that there is a vanity and toilet taking up about 7 sq feet of floor so I thought 3 packs would be more than enough. Well, it was just barely enough. If the pattern matching issue had been any more of a problem I would have had to order another package of tiles. I was able to match almost all of my lines with the best matches going to the most visible areas. All in all. It was a fun project and met my needs which was to cover cracked tiles with a pattern I was curious about. Eventually we plan to demo this room and redo everything. Putting in the flooring gives us the feedback as to whether a pattern like this in a small room works for us.Things you might need, a new threshold strip and caulk. I will need to caulk around all the edges and probably in the seams to prevent water damage, but that is next week’s project.

Easy to install
Great quality, easy to install, but use some gorilla glue, it helps them stick !

Cute pattern, problematic to use
As other reviewers have said, these do not stick evenly to the floor. Likely, they would need to be glued down with another type of floor glue. Although isn't worth it since the pattern does not line up even when using full sheets. It's impossible to get a clean looking pattern without wasting half the box of tiles trying to find ones that match.I wanted to love these! The pattern is exactly what I wanted and they are easy to cut to fit but we will have to pull them up and replace with something else. An unfortunate loss of time and money.

Same complaints as others - bad adhesive, pattern doesn't match
We're in the process of finishing a previously unfinished basement. I wanted something old-fashioned looking for my pantry and chose a linoleum from a hardware store, only to find it had just been discontinued. After a lot of searching, my only cheap DIY solution for something with the look I wanted was vinyl tile. We've done vinyl tile before. 20+ years ago we put down vinyl tile in our bathroom and it's held up quite well. Unfortunately these tiles are nowhere near the same quality. The old tiles had to be cut with a band saw. These are easily cut with scissors. The pattern looks fine from a distance, but very cheap up close. There's no depth to the colors and some tiles look like they were printed on an inkjet that was getting low on black ink. As others have reported, the adhesive doesn't stick very well. We ended up pulling tiles up, laying down adhesive, then putting them back down. Also, in some cases the pattern on the tiles was off enough that there was no way to make them match the tiles they were placed next to. Luckily we bought an extra case. This was also helpful because several tiles were damaged. We had some where the paper backing came off and tiles were stuck together. One case had three tiles that couldn't be separated without damaging them. There was one tile where part of the backing had torn off in strips. Definitely buy extras to be safe.
