Sony NEX-F3/B NEXF3 NEX-F3 16.1 MP Compact System Camera Body Only (Black) New in Open Box

This item was purchased a a backup camera body for my NEX 6. The price was very reasonable and the camera was in new condition as advertised. During the last two weeks of use, the camera performed flawlessly. If anyone owns a NEX camera,this older model ,the NEX 3, makes a reliable backup even though it may lack some of the features found on the 6 or 7 model.Good to grab while these are still available! Shipping was prompt and the packaging was excellent.

Probably a 5* camera. However, the screen is almost impossible to see in daylight. Needs a serious shade. The camera is sold as open box new; mine came with a scratched screen. Not exactly new, but definitely open box. The plastic bag it comes in was laying under it in the box. Someone had opened it before shipment. Also, the manual in the box had nothing to do with the Nex 3 and I think I was supposed to get a charger. I am using this body with fotodiox adapters, (see below - not the Sony $$$ adapter); full manual operation and great pix.Because of missing pieces (for which I purchased 3rd party replacements), the vendor refunded 30% of the purchase price. Their response to my contact about the missing items was quick. I purchased adapters for Sony DSLR lenses, Pentax m42 screw mount lenses, and leica screw mount lenses. I have had excellent results with all three combinations; Sony Alpha, Super Takumar, and Voigtlander leica thread lenses. Set the camera to either full manual or Aperture preferred mode and off you go. Favorite combination is the camera with 50mm f:1.4 Sony lens - effectively a 75mm f:1.4 short telephoto. I have also had excellent results with the Voigtlander 21mm f:4 (leica thread) and the Tamron 10-24mm Sony Alpha mount.I solved the daylight screen problem by purchasing a rubber hood bracket combinaton that connects magnetically to the camera with a tripod screw mounting arrangement. Had to rework it also to make it fit exactly on the LCD - this proved easy to do.different product, different review. I made it work.I do not plan to purchase any Sony E mount lenses. What I have on hand already is working very well.May purchase another body. Might even get all the pieces with this one.

I prefer the mechanical operations, not the touchscreen, plus touchscreen screen gets greasy, oily too quick. Camera exceeded my expectations: wonderful sharp realistic colors, colorful (not over or under saturated) pictures. Although the minimum ISO is 200, it's O.K. because even though I've shot film as low as 25 ISO, I preferred shooting everything at 400 ISO, so 200 ISO with a good fast 2.8 is really great. Sony and sigma lenses work great on it!

Great camera, but I knew that going into the purchase. Only issue was that the screen had quite a few scratches so not quite "new" as described.

i love the f3. this is the only one that i would recommended among the 3-series (3,c3,f3,3n,a3000). I've owned all of them in the last 2 years. all of those bodies were designed with a big compromises. from no multi-port (nex3), no pop-up flash (3,c3), slow burst (c3,3n,a3000) or bad lcd (3n,a3000). the f3 has no glaring compromise.

Very good price. I especially like selfie mod and direct charging. I didn't have that with 5n. A little heavier and bulkier than 5n but considering what I paid, I am happy with it.

This is the second SONY-F3 that I have purchased. It is lightweight, easy to pack and easy to carry. The photo quality is great. I love it.

I love this camera. I had originally bought a Sony A-3000. But the Nex-F3 just takes clearer images. It's a wonderful camera and, since it's mirrorless, it takes photos much faster than my other DSLR. Overall, I'm very happy with this little device!
