Zatarain'sBig & Zesty Blackened Seasoning, 5 oz

This is the Big & Zesty version of Zatarains Blackening Spice - it’s a bit less salty and significantly more flavorful. I have been having trouble finding Zatarain’s Big & Zesty in supermarkets - so it is convenient to order through Amazon. This spice mix is great for grilling meats or fish - especially good on Cedar Planked Salmon!

I love this seasoning! I put it on chicken, fish, bean and anything I want something spicy. I have tried many other blackening seasonings; this one is the best in my opinion. It is not too salty which is a big plus for me. It is easy to control the heat simply by the amount that is applied. I only wish they would sell it in larger containers instead of the small ones.

This is spicy and oh so good on fish, shrimp and even roasted potatoes. If you want something to jazz up your boring old seasonings, you should give the a try. If you’ve spice adverse, just add a little to taste. It is literally a game changer for trout =)

Really enjoy this product but the pieces are just a little too corse for my liking. I’d recommend grinding them prior to cooking
