The scope is wonderful, clarity is phenomenal. But the case came in broke, and the tripod is a little chintzy. And for the price you would think it would be in better shape. But like I say this is very clear.

This scope is no more than okay
Once you get it out of the foam bag, a challenge, the scope is impressive. The large 80mm objective lens is protected by an easy to remove cap. Mounting it on a tripod is straight forward and its adjustments are conveniently placed and easy to make.At 100 yards and 30X/45X magnification the image is crystal clear and quite impressive. The higher magnification the same image becomes much less clear which is disappointing, not what I was expecting from a premier optics manufacturer. I have 3 high power Leupold rifle scopes, all amazingly clear throughout their magnification range. I wish I could say the same for this scope.

Great clerity, light weight but out of box power ...
Great clerity, light weight but out of box power adjustment wouldn't fully operate, will have to get it repaired. Big reason I purchased Leupold is the great lifetime warranty.

Great for the price
This spotting scope really gets the job done. Went out to shoot my precision rifle out to 1000 yards and was able to see hits clearly on steel (on a clear day). Don't know how it performs in lower light, but I would highly recommend, especially for the price. Did plenty of research prior to purchasing and have been more than happy.

Cheap piece of plastic!
Absolutely a cheap piece of garbage! Plastic housing, terable glass! I am so disappointed in Leupold!

The scope and tripod met my expectation as far as ...
The scope and tripod met my expectation as far as clarity. It's fairly lightweight. The case isn't okay, but you may want something more durable if you expect the case to be banged around. It's depth of field is narrow, which is not unexpected, so if you're looking at things at different distances, you'll have to make focus changes.

Used - Not a new item.
The item was listed as new, but the box was ripped and taped, the plastic bag inside was torn open, the scope had a mark on the body, and there were small white hairs all over it.Optics seemed fine. There are several other offers out there, hopefully you can get one that sends you a truely new item.
