needed for a 400sf real wood install
Works well. We have 400 sf of reclaimed real wood floor. Needed these to hold the 4in planks in place while adhesive sets up.

Great for keeping glued down planks together.
These strap clamps worked well to keep glued down wood planks properly attached to each other. I also used Frog tape , but these also were a very big help. Used them also to pull tongue and groove joints together. Time and patience saver. Worth the cost.

great for gluing down hardwood floor
These work ok, they like to sleep off the boards if you are trying to torque down. They are good at closing small gaps but can not fix a large bow in the wood because they sleep off.

Good clamp first tightening straight wooden floor pieces.
These clamps work well for installing wooden floors, but they aren’t as secure as other clamps. I found that when I just needed pressure to tighten the joints, they worked great. However, if I needed a little more pressure to close a slight warp in the wood, they would fly off damaging the wood edges.

Super useful
These were simply the best investment I made for my wood flooring install. I had a couple hundred square feet of 5 inch planks to put down, and I think maybe five would slot together by hand. The rest I pulled together with these clamps. Since I was gluing the flooring down, it was super easy to mess up joints halfway down the hall by pushing too hard on a new board. These totally resolved that. I’d say they’re practically mandatory equipment for a job like this.
