Great for creating an good average temp for your house
When you use this with the honeywell thermostat t9 it creates an average temp between the 3 when all selected. This also keeps the room your in just right. If your like me and have a warmer side of the house far from the ac this is for you. It also reacts to motion, sense humidity as well. Once you install give it at least a month and you can see your average temp on the app and customize or the app is ok not too bad. It's very accurate if 70 was a normal temp for yiur house it may be around 74 now. Great item. My buddy dose ac installSaid this was the brand he used not the t9 thermostat now he's looking to upgrade to this thermostat .

Room Sensors
The media could not be loaded. Theses sensors measure air temperature and humidity and also have motion detection. They’re very easy to setup unless your thermostat is defective, which mines was. Fortunately, my installer returned and replaced my thermostat, but not after I spent many hours frustrated trying to figure it out on my own, and then a technician spent nearly two hours troubleshooting. I finally called customer service, and after being placed on a hold a few times, they determined it was defective. As a result, my installer came back and tried to troubleshoot again before finally installing a new thermostat. The sensors were immediately recognized and it took less than 10 minutes to add 4 sensors. I installed sensors in four rooms outside the room with the thermostat (living room), and I can easily check the temps for each room using the app, which is also very easy to setup. When set to active, the priority is the room with motion. The default is the room with the thermostat, when there’s no motion and when set on “away” on the schedule. I work from home so prefer to prioritize the room I’m actually in, especially since my office is usually warmer or colder than the rest of the house. The issue with my defective thermostat was getting an error that it could not enter enroll mode. There was zero guidance online, which is why I’m mentioning it.Despite my initial frustration, I’m glad I decided to keep trying and finally got it to work. These sensors have definitely help create a more consistent temperature throughout my home and always comfortable where I actually am, but it can result in the a/c or heater running longer to reach lower or higher temps seems temps can vary throughout the home.

Great if they work
Only one worked out of the box. If it doesn’t connect at first, don’t wait to return it thinking you will figure it out later. You won’t. It either works right out of the gate or it doesn’t. Love the system, sensors work great for managing temps across the house. Will be replacing these from somewhere local so I don’t have to deal with returning broke ones again.

Easy Setup and Mount
The Honeywell Smart Room Sensor was easy to install on the T9 Thermostat. The onscreen instructions were clear and easy to follow.Initially the Remote Sensor temperature was high by 10 degrees and it had to sit overnight to eventually resolve to the correct temperature. The unit is small and easily taped to the wall.It has a motion sensor built in that can be used to sense if people are in the room and then automatically use that sensor to control the on/off for the HVAC.The webpage states the batteries should last one year but there are several reports in the reviews of very short lifetime. I have only had it for a few days but will update this review should the batteries need to be replaced prematurely.

Very useful for montoring room temperatures
My house has some rooms at the end of the duct line and after fitting theee I found out that some rooms are 2-3 degrees cooler or warmer than the temperature at the thermostat. Now I amAble to set the temperature better so get no more complaints of warm or cold rooms

Use with the T9 Thermostat
These sensors are very straightforward and easy to understand. They are for use with the Honeywell T9 thermostat, very simple to place, pair, and name. They use 2 AAA batteries and are supposed to last one year minimum. Just follow the easy-to-follow prompts on the T9 setup display, pair only one sensor at a time, and they work accurately. They can be set for either time or motion activation. The only thing I question is the double-sided tape wall mounting...I had one fall from the wall, 5' onto the tile floor, 20 min after placing it on a just-cleaned wall. I'd rather use a flat-headed screw for security. At $40, I'd hate to replace one because the tape didn't hold!

They work
I know these say Honeywell, but their thermostat division is now run by Residio. The sensors appear to work and the indicated temp and humidity seem to be within tolerance. I would have enjoyed something more precise but they get the job done. Tech support is challenging, but luckily I didn't need much for the sensors. I paired these with the T9 thermostat and monitor three different living spaces now (four if you count the T9). The t9 itself has worked pretty well for me, with the exception of compatibility with some mesh WIFI networks. Otherwise, I'm fairly satisfied with the Honeywell/Resideo thermostat.
