This grill is built more solidly than a Weber, with 4 legs and a grate underneath. The removable charcoal catcher is tricky; it has to positioned exactly right or in collapses onto the grate. Works well, but the not cover is not as high as a Weber, which is problematic when cooking large birds such as turkeys, as the cover can actually stick to the skin of the bird. I find that the thermometer is inaccurate, as it is on most of these types of grills; no matter as it is easy to control the heat with the vents. All in all a reliable, sturdy grill
