SEALIGHT H11 LED Headlight Bulb, H8 H9 H16 LED Bulb, Low Beam, Fog Light, Compact Fanless Design, 6500 Lumens, 6000K Cool White, 12 CSP Chips

I got these LED headlights to try after running through a couple pairs of ultra-bright traditional headlight bulbs on my Subaru. I liked the brighter bulbs but didn’t like having to change them every few months. I’d shied away from LED before because of conversion kits. However, the fact that no conversion kit was required for these bulbs enticed me to give them a try. They were as easy to install as my traditional bulbs, and the brightness/visibility are the best I’ve had on my car. They are the hue of xenon bulbs, not the yellower shade of traditional bulbs. I can’t speak to their longevity yet, but I will update my review after a few months of use.

I installed these H11 bulbs in the low beams of our 2010 Subaru Forester (similar to 2011-2014 models). They fit, there is room to coil the DC-DC driver, plug and wire behind the rubber dust cap and the heat sink is about the same height as the plug of a standard halogen bulb. The LEDs align horizontally behind the center cover in the reflector. The beam pattern is even and noticeably brighter than standard bulbs but doesn't blind oncoming drivers. The color temperature is pleasing, pretty much pure white, maybe a little on the blue side. The price is comparable to fancy halogen bulbs but the power consumption is less than half - 55w vs 20w per bulb. They should never have to be replaced. The 50,000 hour lifetime is a bit silly of an estimate, even if the LEDs last that long I'm sure the drivers will fail long before then. Hopefully there's enough heat dissipation behind the dust covers. These bulbs' drivers are not supposed to cause RF interference. I haven't noticed any problems with the FM radio or bluetooth devices. (I don't tend to use AM radio.) I'm happy with the bulbs and recommend them over halogens or a crazy complex xenon HID conversion.

This Sealight X1S bulb claims to be slightly brighter than the X1, though both models look the same. I installed these H11 bulbs in the fog lights and DRL halo rings of a 2008 BMW 335i E92 Coupe. I chose these bulbs for the following reasons:1. No fans to generate irritating noise and heighten the risk of failure.2. The heatsink is small enough to allow installation in my tight headlight enclosure, unlike the braided heatsink varieties that were too chunky to fit.3. The LED driver is in a separate package. That's good because integrated drivers introduce extra heating in the bulb, which is detrimental to the life of LEDs.4. The LED driver seems to be well designed and is potted in thermal epoxy, which conducts heat away from the driver to prevent flicker that results from thermal shutdown/throttling.5. No flicker is present when the bulb is dimmed with PWM control from the BMW ECU. My previous LED bulbs would flicker quite badly when dimmed.6. There is no AM/FM radio interference, whether dimmed with PWM or not.7. These bulbs are considerably brighter and whiter than stock halogens.8. The LED chips are positioned well to mimic the original halogen bulb filament, and this reduces light scatter, but it's not perfect, so the beam may be somewhat dazzling to others.These bulbs have been lit in my DRL Halo Rings, day and night, whenever the car is running, for the last year with perfect reliability.Unfortunately, the collar on the H8/9/11 bulb does not allow bulb orientation adjustments. This seems to be common to most H11 style LED bulbs. Alignment isn't an issue in most cases, but my BMW reflectors orient the bulbs at an unusual angle, so an adjustable collar would be much preferred. If orientation/alignment is an issue in your car, and you're handy with tools, it is possible to remove the collar screw, rotate the bulb in the collar, and drill a new hole in the collar to align it correctly.I replaced every halogen bulb in my headlight and taillight assemblies with LEDs. Unfortunately, the BMW ECU threw an error message for every one of them. Additionally, the bulb check pulses from the BMW ECU cause every LED bulb to flash multiple times at engine start and once every 5 minutes while the car is running, which is irritating and distracting to others. So I decided to use the BimmerGeeks Protool app for Android to code out all of the bulb checks. This eliminated the error messages on the dash, the bulb check flashes, and the hyper-flash (fast-flash) of turn signals. The coding was easy and is far superior to using error-cancelling resistors, which run extremely hot, waste a LOT of power, and require modifications to the wiring harness at every bulb location.

Well, I've had these installed on my class 8 cascadia for a few month's now and they are very bright and liked the build but sadly today on my way home, my left side went out. Sadly I wouldn't buy again being it only lasted a few month's, and on a commercial vehicle you cannot drive with only one headlight functional (no fog light's aren't a substitute as fog light's are considered a auxiliary light not primary) at night, as we can get put out of service when we go through a scale house at night.(UPDATED 12/21/19) Very surprised and pleased with the customer service I've received from this company! After I wrote my review, Dorthy (from customer service) reached out to me via email and was persistent on making sure, I the customer was pleased with their product.. So she offered to send me out a new pair free of charge.. I was so pleased with the professionalism and integrity Dorthy gave that I agreed to give the product another chance. I haven't put then on yet but I know I'll be pleased.. Thank you Sealight for having professional people like Dorthy in you're work force... 👌🏽

Truthfully I had my doubts but I was wrong. These lights are truly amazing. I purchased them for my girlfriends car because she wanted brighter lights than halogen. For the price, I thought it was too good to be true. Fast shipping!!Installed them was very easy. Took me a little longer than I expected but that's because I had to work my way around the body frame of the car to get to the headlights.Another thing that blew me away and wanted me to leave this review was, from past experiences purchasing HIDs or LEDs, I would have to use a zip tie. I didn't have any, but when I opened the box and took at the LED bulbs, it came with 4 zip ties and 2 double sided tape..AMAZING!Would differently come back and buy again
