Chameleon, USDA Organic Arabica Whole Bean Coffee, 12 Ounce Bag (The Day Breaker)

I became a fan of Chameleon for their cold brew concentrate. So when I found out they had a whole bean product, I wanted to try it out. I decided to go with the Day Breaker, as it's a lighter roast and both the origin and flavor profile sounded more in line with my preferences. I loved it! Their description of the flavor was pretty spot on. Unlike a lot of coffee brands, the beans weren't over-roasted. The flavor was bright, with chocolate back notes.This product is ethically sourced, which is really important to me. Chameleon's website has a lot of information on how they work with the communities that source their product. It's also certified USDA organic.One thing to note: This is a whole bean product, not coffee grounds. So you'll need a grinder (although I used to just bring my beans to the grocery store with me and use theirs, so that is an option!)Will have to try the Single Origin next.

For starters - I am NO coffee connoisseur. I'm a very average coffee drinker. I drink coffee with my favorite creamer - International Delights Stone Cold Creamery Sweet Cream Creamer. This flavor is hands down my favorite "flavored" coffee. It's smooth, and almost buttery (but not). The hints of natural cherry and chocolate flavors are wonderful - the flavor isn't bold by any means, just very subtle. I really like that it has flavors without any added flavoring.My grocery store, for whatever reason, stopped carrying it. I was thrilled to see it here, and prime even! 2 days later and I'm sitting here now enjoying this brew.

Too light for my taste, so I had to use two scoops in my Aeropress every day to get the desired flavor.

We order this coffee for our business. The last order of 5 packages was all rank in smell and taste. This is unusual, but worth noting. If this were the only experience of this brand, we never order again. We know they can do better. Please do an exceptional job at roasting, inspecting, and shipping. We waisted 4 bags of coffee beans that were not drinkable.

My wife is a huge light roast/morning roast fan. So I gave this a whirl and started drinking it with her as well, and to my surprise, it’s very bright and flavorful and packs that nice caffeine punch that I need first thing upon waking up.

Very mellow roast. I'm usually more of a dark roast person, but when trying a new roaster I go with the lighter side. I was not disappointed. Nicely done.I could drink a pot of this at a sitting. Very smooth and nice way to slowly ease into a weekend morning.Looking forward to the next bag showing up.

This is the real deal. Smooth and delicious flavor, and so easy to order and receive through Amazon! This is now the go-to coffee in our house. We will be ordering more in the future for sure. Can’t wait to try the other varieties as well!
