Amazing!! Over 3 years!
**UPDATE**I have been using this tracker for over 3 YEARS so I feel I can give this a thorough review. I used this with the waterproof magnet and placed in the undercarriage. The best placement is on the passenger side just before the rear tire attached to the metal frame. This gave me the most accurate results. I then moved to up under the passenger seat because the magnet cases were not reliable and I lost a tracker. Less accurate but I’ll never lose another one! I am a PI so I have a lot of experience with these devices..Battery & Customer Service. I start here because I did have issues with the life of the battery. BUT customer service was insanely amazing. I contacted them thru email letting them know I was not happy about the battery life. Before I could even blink, they sent me a new one (didnt even make me wait to send the defective one) I got it in about a day or 2. That one gave me issues too and without any hesitation they again sent me another one QUICK! That one had no issues at all. Any slight issue I did have or question they got back to me within 10 min, no joke! I bothered them a lot and they answered all of my questions quickly and made sure I was satisfied! I wish my cable company had the same ethics! The website. It is very user friendly. There are so many different features, it may take you awhile to get the hang of them all. I spent a night just clicking around and found some really cool ones that were perfect for what I needed it for. Particularly the google maps. Example. The vehicle was parked for a long time at a location that I was not familiar with. It looked like a building but I didn't know what it was. You can click on it where it says map it and get a street view. I was then able to recognize the location. And it was even in the exact parking spot it showed on the map, that is CRAZY! You can watch in real time as the subject is in route, or you have the option of looking at everywhere the tracker had been in the last 24 hours or hour by hour (say if you knew they left at 2 you could break it down and just see the activity from 2-3) The other super cool feature I loved is geofencing. You can choose a location (say home, office, gym) anywhere you deem a safe area where you know. When they leave that area you will get a text or email (u choose) letting you know the min they left or when they entered that area. I liked this because once they left I could watch in real time to see where they were going. You can also see how long they spent parked or stopped at a location. You can see miles traveled as well as speed. The app is new and I use it the most but it’s behind just a little with real time. The service does have a monthly fee ranging I believe from 25-35 depending on how often you want it to ping (every 30 sec to 2 min) not sure of the exact times, I have 30 seconds for $30 a month (so worth it)This product exceeded all of my expectations. I never thought I would actually be able to do all that I can with it. Its better than sitting around waiting for the subject to make moves, it saves me time, gas and mileage on my vehicle. I can track a subject from my computer or phone.I literally have nothing bad to say about this AT ALL. You will not be disappointed if you are using it to track a spouse or bf/gf, kids, you will be amazed!

Marketing vs Operations
The Good:1) It's small making it easy to conceal2) It's lightweight3) The rubber coating helps protect the deviceThe Bad:1) The device is preset to a 1 minute update with no instructions in the manual or online on how to change it or if it can be changed. I signed up for the 5 second updates and could only get 1 minute updates. I'm sure there is a way to change this but it shouldn't take repeated requests by e-mail waiting for their responses. This should be made clear at time of activation or before.2) the online only manual is basic and lacks details. Most of it just explains how to operate the basic online menu items. There is very little about the device.3) tech support is by e-mail only or if they call the customer. Their user support forum can only be found by calling for tech support and getting it from a recording. Their support forum is a ghost town with no help4) The device has a 30 second preset for showing or notifying there's movement. Tech support email said it could be changed but not how. Again, no help on their website or in their manual5) Tracking is viewed via their www site. Cell phones that can access the www will work but there is no cell phone version of the website. Plan on having to zoom in to log in and manipulate functions. It's unsafe for use with live mobile tracking.6) Their software plots paths using straight lines from one update to the next. With 1 minute updates it would be nice if this option could be turned off as the lines are unrelated to the path of the device. The Ugly:1) According to their tech e-mail, the "two week battery life" is calculated with a 1 minute update frequency and movement is restricted to 1 hour a day. Nowhere on Amazon, their website or in their manual do they indicate the battery life run time if movement is constant or if one subscribes to the higher priced updates of less than 1 minute.2) The 1 minute updates are every minute it reads the GPS coordinates and a minute later their online program updates to those coordinates. When the position is received it is where the device was 2 minutes ago.3) While most GPS devices are not always spot on with location this one it happens too often to be relied upon for accuracy.4) The website has an auto log-off feature that can't be turned off. It relies on user interaction with the website as opposed to the GPS updates. During mobile tracking this requires ongoing timely interaction with the website to keep it from logging us off.--------------------------------------------------------------Obviously different people have different uses for GPS tracking devices and the nature of the technology at this point can have its limitations. If you want a device that will give you the general where-a-bouts every couple minutes or a passive tracker that can be checked later, this device may meet your needs. What I need is a device with software suitable for live mobile tracking with a much longer battery life. Battery life is a challenge with all of these GPS trackers. But, knowing the limitations up front allows us to work with this issue. This company chose to market the battery life as something it isn't and getting the truth from them took more effort than it should have.Lastly, if this company spent as much time on operations as they did marketing they might have a product worth having and working around/with any deficiencies. How this became the #1 seller on Amazon is beyond me. Maybe I'm operating on the wrong frequency.++++++++++++++++++Follow up. Tech support responded about an hour after I posted this review and one on the company website. They apologized and offered a free device with extra battery life and free service until I was satisfied with their tracker and their service. They deserve credit for this response. I will not be taking Spytec up on the kind offer. There are simply too many issues with their product/service even if their tech support responded quickly. Most of these issues are fairly basic for a GPS and should have been addressed up front.

It works perfectly
Update! STILL LOVE IT. I don't care what others say. Purchase price is small but monthly I pay about $40 a month but the tracking is extremely accurate I tested it multiple times. It showed my exact location. I bought a one month to test it out but next month I'll sign a yearly one. Customer service is top notch if you have any Q's.Couldn't more highly recommend. You won't regret it once it's set up (which was a little confusing at the start but now it's just charge and place and repeat). It's a extra phone bill by $50 a month let's say but the GPS on that is FIRE! Highly recommend

Shorter battery life than expected.
Nice tracker, battery life is short when using the performance setting, but that's to be expected. Bought the external battery to help out with that. With external battery case, made by Penguin, it will last 1 month in performance mode. It stays in contact with you and satellites well.
