Great little pole and reel
This pole and reel is so easy to use, that first time out with it my 7 year old grand son used it right away. He had no troubles at all. The reel works so smooth, and handles so well.

Broke on first use
The product broke on the first use. The reel unspooled and got caught in the gears and when my husband tried to fix it, the bottom of the reel and some pieces fell into the lake. Extremely disappointed.

Not Bad for an Inexpensive Rod and Reel.
This Zebco 101 real has performed well for me for more than a year. It’s easy to use and relatively tangle free. I have several other rod and reels in my arsenal but find myself often reaching for this one because it’s lightweight and shorter, easier to carry than the others.

Great for kids
This was a Christmas gift for my 7 year-old grandson, a step up from his shorter, one-piece Zebco combo. Everything performs as it should. I will update the review after we actually go fishing.
