Durability
It seems that the car has a electrical problem and only the OEM is standing up cause other substitutes can’t even last two weeks

Civic was feeling sluggish, these helped, super easy install
My honda civic's engine compression/power had notably lessened....especially with the AC on and most noticeably when going uphill. I changed plugs using oem NGK correct ones just after 100,000 as factory specs call for but didn't notice any performance improvement....the plugs honestly didn't look that bad on the inside...black as to be expected, but no caked up gunk. The car wasn't backfiring or idling crazy or anything, it just had a definite decrease in power. These DENSO coils made a huge difference. The engine compression/power/pickup is much better and the fuel economy is a bit better now too. Best to spend a few extra bucks for DENSO quality, which is what these cars are designed to use...not some cheapo aftermarket. Install is super easy....my second grade son could totally have put these in...literally 5 minutes. 10mm socket. Remove 4 unobstructed nuts, unplug and take old coil out, push the new coil down , click the electrical connection back on and tighten the nut x4 and done. I don't know how much the dealer charges in labor for this job, but whatever it is they should be ashamed of themselves and so should you if you pay that much for an install this easy.

Great price for OE quality coils
Original coils on 2009 Civic EX lasted 14 years and 186K before two failed at about same time. If you’re working on your own car you could wait to replace until each one fails, but if doing on someone else’s do all four together at this age to avoid future hassles for them. This is about the easiest job there is on a Civic. Takes about 15 minutes. Use some dielectric grease on the boots to make future removal easier.

OEM quality ignition coil
I originally purchased (4) coils from advance auto parts. Had nothing but issues, even after returning all of them. Purchased these Denso brand and they work perfectly. Have had zero issues with them. Denso makes quality stuff and I believe they are the OEM manufacturer for Hondas coils. Don't waste your money on the cheaper knock off ones, as most are garbage. Highly recommend

Bye bye misfire codes
I bought these for my neighbors 07 Honda Civic. He handed me the key and said it won't start so I went out there with a jump box just to find out the battery wasn't dead like the last time. It had cylinder misfire codes for 3 and 4 plus a multiple misfire code. First I pulled the plugs and cylinders 2 3 and 4 were black and smelled of fuel. Even if the coils were good it was getting new plugs. It still wouldn't start with the plugs changed. I purchased 4 of these Denso coils and installed them and it runs great now. The big plus here is the price of the Denso brand coils are almost half the price of the local parts chain coils.
