Hook it up right and it works perfectly
If you want the switch to work as designed, DON'T hook it up according to the provided diagram. Sitting on the bench with no vacuum supplied, the COM. is connected to N.C.. With vacuum supplied, COM. is connected to N.O.. So if using it as an activation switch to lock/unlock a torque converter, Use COM. and N.O.. That way the clutch engages only when you're pulling sufficient vacuum. Also use ported (timed) vacuum if so equiped, that way when you let off the throttle, vacuum drops to zero and the clutch disengages.

Works as a vacuum switch
Ignore the negative reviews that claim that this is not a vacuum switch.Make sure you read the directions before attempting to use it.If you use the NC terminal the switch is on until the HG level number goes lower to where it is set. If you use the NO terminal the switch will be off until the HG level number goes lower. If you want it to engage when you hit the gas use NO, if you want it to disengage when you hit the gas use NC.

Nothing to Do With A Vacuum Switch
Because TransmissionHardParts does not accurately describe this switch, you are misled to think that it has something to do with vacuum. WRONGGGG. If that's what you are looking for, move on. Oh, and they charge a 20% restocking fee to return that they don't disclose either.

Absoutely NOT
NOT a vacuume switch.. does not hook to vacuume at all... “activated by the 3rd or 4th gear switch located inside the transmission”

Has done great running my vacuum pump on my diesel swap
Headline sums it up. Seems much more stout than the previous switch I'd used, will report back after this one has a few thousand miles on it.
