Just had to SHARE these 3 photos... And yes I'm showing off my work here....I built this irrigation structure to control all my property's sprinklers... But WITHIN it I also put in HDPE (marine grade) water proof shelves with high tech pots that you cannot over water... And ADDED this BEAUTIFUL grow light that comes on automatically through a photocell and Our tomato plants LOVE IT.... After 3 DAYS, they're 🌼 flowering already and I've got HIGH HOPES for great yeilds... It's winter time here in California with almost freezing weather at night, with some overcast days... So aim thinking this is the right 🏮🏮🏮 light at the right time...😊✅✅✅

These grow lights work outdoors and I bought it so I can set up a mini greenhouse outside. The lights are BRIGHT and powerful. The unit is sturdy and the light switch is weather proof.I've been too lazy to set up outside. But I decided to use these for my propagation boxes that house my expensive rare hoyas because they contain an obscene amount of humidity for them to root faster. I have to decide on humidity or light. Well... now they're getting both. I blast them with this grow light. I don't bother turning on my heat mats either so if you're looking to save some money, get this instead of you do shoe box propagations.There's a metal bar on the back of this, so I was able to clamp it against my shelf so I can move it around to other shelves. Ended up being perfect for what I needed, but didn't know I needed. It comes with all the hardware to mount it so you can use it for outside, or ceiling. Highly recommend and know you can use it in other ways too that I thought I'd share.

Item as described. If you are a grower, this is a needed item. Able to tell on chilly days warmth of the light was keeping greenhouse warm. Thickness, sturdiness of the unit able to handle harshness of outdoor climate.

What a great light. I have this light in my kitchen right now on my carnivorous plants because it is 110 degrees here in Scottsdale. The outside temp is too high for these type of plants and I needed to bring them inside for a couple of months. These plants require full sun and I am accomplishing this with this light. Since I have had the lights on there is new growth on several plants. I plan on moving the plants outside when the temperature cools and I will be able to use this light outside as well because it is waterproof. It definitely puts out much more light than my 400 watt MH and I can mist the plants heavily without worrying about the ballast or getting the bulb wet. It does put off a little heat but for me that is a good thing because my wife keeps the AC at 72 degrees and my plants like it warmer. I am happy with the cost, light output, heat output and how easily adjustable the case is. I have it hanging now but it can stand on its own with the adjustable handle.

I just received my grow light today, and it is missing the hangers that I need to hang above my raised bed. Very disappointed and will be returning. I'm giving it only 1 star because it is unusable.

Used on my Japanese Maple in a shaded corner of my balcony that never gets sunlight, and within 2 days of using this light, there are already leaf sprouts! I received this potted tree a year ago, and ever since the first year when all the leaves burned because of the hot afternoon sun where it was positioned, it never produced anymore leaves. I moved it to its current location last year to save it from the burning sun, but there is never any sunlight because it's completed shaded from the balcony cover and never produced leafing until just 2 days ago!

One of the lights died in less than a year

When they tell you this is waterproof, they aren't kidding. We have it outside over a small winter coldframe where we grow our greens. The area gets plenty of light in the summer but not so much in winter. We wanted to give it some extra light at night while electric rates are cheap. This thing is the perfect answer. It's so wonderful that we ended up buying two of them to expand the garden area. It uses very little electricity and the plants are thriving. There was a huge deluge of rain the other night and I wondered if they would crap out - but no need to worry! We did end up moving it closer to the plants than they recommend, but you'll need to experiment with this in your own situation. Highly recommended.
