JUST WHAT I NEEDED
Bought these to secure my K-Bar horizontally across my belt in the small of my back. By threading the TacTiles through the slots in the optional kydex sheath, I was able to secure the sheath - and with it the knife (a 5" short K-Bar) - to my belt securely enough that it can be drawn swiftly, efficiently & quietly ( and keep it concealed to boot, when desired ).Like most everything Maxpedition makes, their TacTiles performed flawlessly (so far). Just how durable they will be over time remains to be seen. But their inexpensive enough that you could stock up on them and have plenty of spares should they begin to wear & eventually break.

Worth paying a but more, as durable as all the Maxpedition gear (and matches the webbing too)
These are longer and the other ones... and thus better for bigger gear. I use the same manufacture for the packs and accessories, so if course I want the same PAL/Molle straps to keep everything secured with he same durable quality

Easy and secure molle attachments
Simple to use and they hold securely. Not bulky or heavy though they could be lighter. Easy to take off as well.

They Do Their Job
How am I supposed to review a tac tie??1. Maxpedition quality2. Stay where you put them3. They can handle weight4. They weave in and out of molly webbing like a hot knife through butter5. They hold up really well. I have some really old ones still doing their job6. Water resistant but not fire resistant7. Don't really stretch out after time and crazy weather conditions8. More solid option than the alternatives like plastic clips and longer ties with buttons

Very impressed keep up the great work Maxpedition!
Pain in the butt to take off that's why I gave it five stars. I bought these to hold my gear on and that's what they do. They hold your pouches tight to your webbing and they are built tough as nails. I tortured one of my straps. It passed with flying colors. I even got hung up with my pack by my water bottle holder and my 170 pounds did noting to the two straps. I challenge you to find another strap that can do that.

Nice Product
Everything was as advertised and the price was very fair. I would recommend this to friends. It is not as quick to install as I hoped but works great and is easy to install,

Mixed Feelings On The TacTile 5"
Simple Pros VS Cons..PROS:. Once they are in place, your MOLLE system is secure. I find that they provide a better attachment than Speedclips.. The material seems indestructible. Double stitching and high quality material that is weather resistant.. The attachment can easily be disengaged to remove portions of your MOLLE system quickly, and the straps stay secured to the gear.. Maxpedition makes them in their various colors so the MOLLE system will look "seamless".. just in case you cared.CONS:. Grab a pair of needle nose pliers before attaching them. You will thank me later.... The initial installation process can be a pain, literally. Takes some finger strength and patience to get them perfect.. I see where they were going with the design, but getting the small flap where it needs to be can be frustrating.. If you remove part of your system on the move, good luck quickly re-securing it. Better have some time and nobody around with virgin ears...I'd like to see Maxpedition start throwing a variety of TacTile straps in with each pack. Being that their gear is expensive (well worth it though), it would be nice not to require an additional 15 bucks or so worth of items to combine their products.
