Great value fan. Cheap, flows well. Needs a little product quality control
I like how the product is good value, flows well, overall quiet. Some things I dislike is that the junction box is tiny, very difficult to tuck wires inside of it, Housing is a little bit too compact leaving no room for tubes to fully slide it but still workable. Motor does create some noise but overall it's quiet and you can't hear it from another room.I also have a Tjernlund duct fan and it's quieter and has a bit better build quality however it flows less

Great product works as described.
We bought 2 of these to vent a large (25,000btu)window ac box through 2 small overhead door windows in my shop. We have no windows that open to install the unit into and central air installation was over 4k$. We found a new window ac unit on craigslist that someone had purchased not realizing it was 230 volts. They had no way to power it and sold it after hanging onto it for a year for $200. We built a box from 1.5" thick foam for the exhaust (hot air) from the back of the ac unit and put 2- 6" flexible vents running to 2 small oval shaped overhead door windows that we removed and made a sheet metal adapter for accepting the 6" flexible duct. We have 3000 square feet of shop area and 20 ft high ceilings so expecting the window unit to to a great job was kind of unrealistic. But surprisingly on a 90 degree day if left on all night it will keep the shop at 80 to 85 and less humid. We bought the 2 fans to put inline at the end of the flexible ducts to try to get more performance out of the unit and now on 90 degree days we now come into 76 degree temps in the morning and 80 to 82 degrees is the hottest it gets. I was concerned that the high heat coming from the back of the unit would cook the fan motors. The 2 fans have been running almost a week straight now and no troubles. These were easy to hook up and seem to be of very good quality. A great buy at this price!

Good, fairly quite fan
I bought this to make a thermal downdraft fan for the karate dojo I go to. That is, to suck the hot air of the ceiling and push it down to the floor through flex-duct. It wasn't until after I received it that I read in the instructions that it is only to be mounted horizontally. My application is vertical so we'll have to see how long it lasts since I'm ignoring the Manufacturers recommendations. ;-) The pipe around the fan is of a decent thickness and the fan is mounted solidly within. I did have to add a cord to it but since I wired a thermal switch on it anyway this didn't bother me. The fan pushes air well and is fairly quite. But, since I'm mounting it in a warehouse type environment, the forced air heaters drown out any other fan noise anyway.

Buyer beware of your particular install site
Read the instructions in the box as it clearly states for horizontal use only. I installed the fan in my system in a vertical orientation. The product description never said it is ONLY for horizontal use. I’ll let you know how long it lasts, I don’t know why the orientation would matter?

Fan works well
Installed the fan to boost air flow to an enclosed garage. Installation was straight forward. I added a controller to turn it on and off automatically (available on Amazon). The fan makes a big difference in cooling the garage. The fan is not that loud after it is installed (if you are next to it or in the garage), but the sound it makes does travel back along the ducts and sounds like a jet engine in my living room.Overall, I am satisfied with the fan.Con: The fan was shipped in its original box without any kind of protection, and arrived with a significant dent in the fan housing, taking it out of round. It really needed to be sent inside a properly packed shipping box. Fortunately, flexible round ducting is forgiving.

Duct fan
Diversitech quality for this product is good. The fan runs fairly quiet and moves good CFM's through the ductwork

Fan works well, and is fairly quiet.
Inexpensive and delivers good air flow, clearly marked air flow direction on the side. Fairly quiet. Wiring was not clear, has 2 black and 1 green., challenging to hang ( I had horizontal install).
