Wow!
The amount of dead flies is insane. I haven't cleaned them out yet (*Edit below) and they are half full of flies. The bait I used was pretty stinky but not terrible. I have not noticed a smell from the flies. It's pretty easy to set up the hooks are a bit of a struggle but with a little patience it's easy enough. They aren't attractive, but no insect trap I've ever seen is. If you have a lot of flies outside these will kill MANY of them for the price. I think I may feed the dead flies to my chickens... But a bit reluctant.*Edit a few days later.I cleaned it out and it was not a very fun experience. I spent a bit of time shaking it then finally just grabbed a twig and used it to clear the funnel out of the tiny metal ring. My hands were covered in dry fly dust which doesn't smell great.. Though being nice dry fly dust and not moldy dead clumps of bodies I really felt comfortable feeding them to my chickens and my girls cleared an alarming amount of piles of flies. My sexlinks just ate straight flies while my barred rocks kept going between salad and flies, grass, strawberry leaves and back to flies.I won't give this product any points for cleaning! But at the end of the day--this was a very effective way to slow the fly population and get some very very high protein eggs. The cleaning is worth the eggs--dont feed your chickens moldy wet flies from other traps.

Scam and a waste of your time!
If I could give it no stars I would. Doesn’t work and it’s a waste of money. I put this up in my chicken coop the day I got them on the 9th and it’s the 14th still without a single fly caught. I used chicken poop to attract them to the bowl which works great, theres tons of flies in the bowl, but there’s too much of an opening from the bowl to the netting and they just fly right out. They don’t even fly up in the trap. It’s a total scam and a waste of time.

Flies seem yo ne super particular on thr trspthry show interest in
The media could not be loaded. It seems that the flies are particular to one over the other three. It does come with instructions ansis messing trying to get the bait in the bowl and back into the bottom of the catcher. The three caught a few flies around my chicken Brooder. The one caught quite a bit more. Good value for something that doesn't put chemicals in the trap. I feel safe dumping the dead flies into my brooder for my pullets and they love the snacks.

They work well!
Got these traps for our chicken run and so far so good! We used chicken poop and food scraps as the bait and caught flies on day one. My only complaint was it didn’t come with instructions so I had to come back here to look at pictures on how to set it up.

Fly catcher
They work! Just find the right spot to hang it up, may have to try a few spots but it works.

Pretty flimsy , haven’t caught many flies.
Not impressed. I usually buy the disposable fly traps for the horse barn , but they smellSo bad. I thought I’d give these a try , but they are flimsy , the gap between the netting and the bait tray is pretty large , I baited with horse and chicken poo , but only caught a teeny fraction in these as what’s in the disposable stinky ones. I will try and use something else as bait , but I’m just not sure with how flimsy these are how they can catch as many flies as Tbey are suppose to.

Doesn't work
These do NOT WORK. It doesn't come with any instructions. We had to Google it. If you purchase something put in the instructions!!! They have been up 3 days and not 1fly caught. Bummer.

Worth the money!
The product definitely works and at a great price. I just put some wet cat food and water in the dish as bait. Also able to be emptied but requires something stuck in the hole to empty. I used a skewer
