Table surface is heavy and solid. Legs are more of a smoky dark charcoal. I like this. Assembly was literally 10 screws, took me longer to unbox it than assemble it. HINT: Have a pliers handy cuz there's a dozen or so staples under the table to remove so you'll definitely need pliers or channel lock to yank out so you won't cut yourself. That or cut the black strap with a razor blade. Great table, fits perfectly on my 5x7 carpet. The only drawback is I wish the legs were at the corners so 6 chairs would fit better. Screws are in the orange bag.

Counter height barstools fit perfectly; I love this table in my kitchen which replaced a much smaller & lower table. Sturdy, no complaints. We prep food, do homework, eat meals, and use this a lot as a hub of activity.

The first table was delivered damaged. We refused delivery and called Amazon. They were very accommodating and sent a replacement immediately. That one arrived without issue. We bought this table to use as a small conference table/lunch table for our co-working space. It is very heavy and very solid. Took some time to put together, but it works exactly as expected and looks very nice. Good value for the money. But check the box before accepting delivery!

Great value for the price, thick, distressed wood top & stylish/industrial metal frame/legs. Love the counter height, table will double as extra kitchen work space for me. Extremely easy to put together, but probably best to have two people because of size/weight of table. Only very minor quibbles are that the metal frame/legs appeared black in pics but are more of a gunmetal gray & yes there were couple of scratches but they were easily fixed and are not noticeable now......I love this table!!

I needed a sturdy counter-height table to use as a work table in my new sewing room. This one was just the right size to hold my cutting board, just the right height, so I can work standing or sitting, and as stable as a rock. I thought the price was excellent, too! The uncluttered design of the table, although very contemporary, blends very well with the rooms other furnishings, which are antique or vintage. I’m so glad I spent the extra money to have two friendly and considerate young men deliver the table to the room, unpack it, inspect it, and carefully and expertly assemble it. At my request, they attached felt pads to the legs which I had prepared to protect the laminate floor. They did a great job in about 30-40 minutes and cleaned up and carried away all the packing materials. I couldn’t ask for more!

The table was easy to assemble. You will need 2 people as the tabletop is heavy. It is VERY sturdy and could easy seat 6 people for dinner.2 things that to note - they staple the legs and other items to the bottom of the table... and they are a pain to remove. We ended up leaving some in place. Also, the tabletop had a "paint/finish" smell for about a week. Nothing now.

The table looks nice from a distance but the quality is horrible. The corners came banged up and the table is not sealed. The wood bubbled up and scratches so easily. Was also missing hardware.

Ordered on a Thursday, had it held at a local carrier because I knew it would be a bear to deliver with my schedule. I went to pick it up on Saturday. Literally arrived within 2 days.It is VERY WELL packaged. It took more energy to unpack than to actually put together. Although the instructions said 2 people needed, I'm a single woman and was able to assemble it on my own. I'm a big girl though, if you're small, you'll definitely need help!Only 10 bolts, and the Allen wrench provided.I absolutely LOVE the table. The color is awesome warm brown with Amber undertones, it's very sturdy and the perfect size for a small eat in kitchen area.I'm very happy with my purchase!
