Great whistle , used to signal a school lockdown. Good value for money and well made.

Unbelievable value, well made and incredibly loud. I live on the coast where it blows a gale most days and I needed a whistle for my dogs that they could hear over the wind-wow, that’s covered now. I’ve just bought another lot for my friends with dogs. I prefer the metal to plastic too.

The Good:They are value for money.They are good quality made from aluminiumThe sound is comfortable to the ear (it doesn't shriek like my dog whilst) it trillsIt has a laynard.The bad:It's not loud enough in open areas. I tried it on the open heath to call the attention of my dog. The sound seemed weak. My dog didn't respond to it at all at just 100 metres.In the forest it worked much better. The sound felt like it carried further.I'll do further testing to make sure I'm accurate.

Do the job, small and light, nice and loud

Bought these to distract my very barky American Akita!! the sound is good & quite loud, the whistles are very lightweight with a cord so can wear round the neck without noticing they are there weight wise. They were brilliant to start with 1 in the kitchen, 1 in the living room & 1 in my bedroom, all going very well but as anyone with an Akita will know they can be a very stubborn breed & soon my girl was totally ignoring the whistle & carried on barking at anything that walked or blew passed my front door, even a leaf!! this is in no way the whistles fault at all just my stubborn bi%$h so for any other use I would highly recommend them 5**

Noise level is fine but does not match the claim IMHOContinuous blowing produced a limp tone so was useless, best results made from short, sharp blowing to produce a high pitched noise. Well and good if you are not in an emergency situation and simply need to grab someones attention within a crowd.Fixings not greatly thought out and have room for improvement.Ultimately I like the product at the low price and do use it for dog walks,
