Great cultivator and a good deal
I used this cultivator to chew up about 800 square feet of my yard. I did use a power tiller first to break down the hard dirt and exisitng lawn, but then used the Rocklin to smooth it out and RE-Break it up after some hard rain compacted the ground on me again. I actually made 3 passes, SO THAT'S 2400sqft and the tool is still in great shape. I see most folks doing spot repair or smaller jobs so I wanted to post this as a larger job. I would like to see the tang screws improved, maybe go all the way through but if you just quickly tighten them on each use you are good to go. Its a handy tool and good value. PRO TIP: cut a piece of 1/2inch PVC pipe and put it inside the handle, it will make it more solid, keep it from flexing and adds a little helpful weight. Enjoy.

Broke after just two uses, but Roklin replaced it quickly!
After just two uses, the center post broke off. I'm not impressed.Update: Less than 36 hours has passed, and I have already received a replacement from Roklin. They got it to me overnight via Amazon.com. I don't know how well it will hold up, but I could have asked for a refund. I chose replacement.

Terribly made. Cheap and flimsy.
If I could I’d give this a negative star rating.I ordered two and neither of them are usable.The holes for the hardware don’t match up and the screws are super cheap. The plastic snapped when I was just hand turning the first screw in and then it stripped because the holes don’t line up. I ended up with shards of metal everywhere and still can’t get the head attached to the handle. Super frustrating and a waste of time and money.

great product
I bought this based off of reviews; I read a lot of them about this product and others like it; I am 5ft. 7in tall and this is about as tall as you can be for this cultivator; if you are any taller you will be bending over to use it; it is all metal; sturdy and well constructed; it was very easy to assemble; took me like 5 min.; if you understand this is a cultivator and not a tiller you will be very happy with this product; tillers break up large patches of unworked ground; cultivators work best on ground that is already tilled or plowed; it works great on my garden beds for keeping weeds at bay, just roll it back and forth and the ground is lovely; the patch of ground I am working to turn into a garden is a bit harder, I have to put more effort into pushing down, there is grass and roots and hard ground; I am sure after a bit of muscle it will be a good spot; it would be a better product if there was just one more piece of handle, but not sure if it would hold up to a lot of pushing force if the handle was longer; however you could adapt it to fit a wooden handle or longer metal handle; I am happy with this product as is; for me this is well worth the money I spent; it will in the long run save me a lot of time doing things the hard way;

2 uses and one of the blades broke
I'm updating this review o three stars, not because of the product but rather the seller. The seller. I wasn't expecting anything as I was past the Amazon return date. However, the seller reached out and apologized and sent me a full refund. A completely classy and unexpected surprise from a great seller.Not a good product. I used this just a couple of times to loosen the soil to lay a couple of squares of sod. One of the metal cultivators broke at the base on the second use. Thought it would be a good product before that.

Well made
Love this tiller! It’s very sturdy and with the long handle easy on my old back. I have a small garden and my husband found this one and recommended to me. I trust his findings and he was right this time too. When weeds emerge, they are quickly dispensed with. Thank you

Lightweight yet sturdy alternative to powered cultivators for smaller targeted jobs
I ordered this to "rough up" clay soil under rogue grass that I had killed with weed killer before reseeding.I also hoped it would pull out at least some of the dead grass. I did not want to buy a powered cultivator as I really hope I wont be using it too often and the area is fairly small.Anyway - you can see in the picture to the left is that a couple of passes of this pulled up a reasonable amount of the dead grass and (what you can't see easily is) the "tilled soil". This simple yet effective cultivator broke up the soil quite nicely.I was quite surprised to find this arrived in a box that fitted into my mailbox! I was worried at first that this was just the head piece (although I do have a spare broom stick I thought I could use). In fact, there is a very strong metal handle that securely screws together (they provide loctite to help seal/fix in place).You have to assemble the head too, by inserting the tines into the head and tightening thumbscrews - a very simple job.Once assembled the complete unit is very strong and feels more expensive than this unit is.All in all it fits the purpose I ordered it for completely.If you have an acre to till - this is not the item for you but for smaller targeted areas this is perfect. In fact I will be using it in my borders to loosen the soil their too (something I wouldn't have worried about before getting this)All in all a great product for a great price.
