Used a lot in 7th-grade math class.
These have been very helpful in 7th-grade math. I teach the special ed students in inclusion and also pull most of them for extra support. They are pretty large and come in a large box that they can stay stored in. The only downside is if you keep them in the box they came in, it does take up a lot of space. The students and regular ed teacher used them a lot to show visually the 2-D and 3-D area and perimeter unit. Many of my students are visual learners and needed to see how the shapes really looked both on the outside and being able to take out the inside and visually see it helped a ton! I've never seen that before. The inside part is pretty sturdy and has lasted this year. Hopefully will keep lasting with 7th graders. Can also be used with volume which we did earlier in the year in science, but I didn't have them yet.

Great for instruction
Sturdy, great hands on for students to work with nets. Bottoms do come off easily, but that was find for what we were using as. Container for each net is dry-erasable for students to work out problems. Quality materials.Used for middle school math - kids loved them!

My toddlers are fascinated by these
This held their attention longer than almost anything else I’ve ever let them play with. Watch out for the little circle choking hazards in the lids. They pop out and are trash anyway, just little finger holes for pulling the lids off.

Use for demonstration in Geometry class!
The solids are quite useful for demonstrating nets for 3D figures.

They fit base ten blocks!
The square and rectangular pyramids fit base-ten blocks inside PERFECTLY to demonstrate LxWxH=Volume and Base x H = Volume. When I tried the base ten "longs" and "flats" and they fit, I did a teacher happy-dance. (small rectangle fits 5x5 longs, and large cube fits 10x10 "flats").Another teacher happy dance when I put the inserts on the photocopier, dialed down the print density setting, and made copies of the nets for students to cut and form their own 3D shapes to use with our base tens at their own desks.

Great product overall with one minor drawback
I wish there were an easier way to keep all the pieces together. The small circular pieces tend to fall out and slide around in the box. The overall product is great and has been useful in showing examples of nets, surface area, and volume. I would love to have different nets of the same 3-dimensional shape. The issue of the small pieces not staying in place is minor, and this product has been very useful for teaching 6th Grade Math and working with students with disabilities.

Bottoms won't close, middle falls out when picked up
I am in college for early childhood education and ordered these after my Professor let us play with hers. Really neat idea and I was certain I could use them in my own classroom. However, I'm disappointed that 3 out of the 11 shapes will not close properly. As soon as I pick them up, the middle falls out. Debating on sending them back because of it. I really liked these.
