Works exactly as described.

Finally went to replace it and the part's great. But when I finally got underneath there to check it out, it was a huge crack in the hose. So I bought a new hose for $2 and the error code went away. I have an issue again. I'll swap it out but the part looks perfect for the job. Anyways, if you have the issue, check out all your hoses before you run out and buy it the part to fix the code might be an even easier fix lol

This Dorman product is just like the OEM Denso fits very well and check engine lamp has been off now for almost a year.

Easy install. No issues however I purchased a new evap canister at the same time. To install valve you have to remove canister anyway...no sense just changing valve at that time because with my luck I know that one of those two bolts that hold valve in place will break during removal so I replaced evap canister and shutoff valve at the same time. Check engine light off. Good to go for emissions inspection.

Matched and worked like a charm

Bought this part to fix the p1457 check engine Code on my 2000 Honda accord ex. The original valve installed on my car must have been leaking due to corrosion (it was pretty rusty) causing the code. This new part was relatively easy to install (aside from the 10mm bolt on the original value being very hard to break free from laying on my back under the car, I recommend installing with a new bolt). After installing this new valve, and clearing the check engine light by pulling the fuse, the check engine light has not returned and I have driven over 600 miles since. Part comes with the two screws to hold the valve onto the charcoal canister, which is nice since the originals were rusted and had to be twisted out with vice grips. If you have this code, this part is most likely the culprit and is an easy and inexpensive fix.

Did not work as advertised

This product fixed my 2001 Honda Odyssey’s P1457 code. I just recently installed this part so I can’t tell anything about the quality yet, but I hope that this will last well.

I bought this product to fix my evap leak on 02 accord 4 cyl sedan. code p1457. the product worked fine but it turned out i did not need a new one since the old one worked fine. if you have the p1457 code, it has an equal chance of being this, or it could also be the evap canister it self need replacing. there is a 50/50 chance of it being either one causing the problem. after i replaced the evap canister it self, the engine light never came back on. there could also be a leak in a hose somewhere but that is unlikely. I am not a mechanic so unless you have expensive tools to test the car parts from the obd 2 port, trial and error was my only option

The built quality seems good, I guess they are good? Hard to tell for me, as my car's engine light still stayed and ONLY the code for this diagnostics returned after properly getting these installed... I think my car may have a hose leak elsewhere in the under body that is causing the Code... Hard to say really.

It worked perfectly the engine light is off after the code P0457 highly recommend
