This food is so worth it for my mini Aussie doodle. Leo has a partially collapsed trachea. Raw food is so good for reducing inflammation. Kibble is highly inflammatory because of the high cook temps (often 500+ degrees).The ingredients in this are also extremely clean and transparent.If you’re making this your dogs 100% food source - make sure to add in some type of grain. The “grain free” trend has been linked to heart disease. Ask your vet or do some research.For my 15 lb Aussie: Once per day I heat 1/2 cup of oatmeal, let it cool completely, then add 1/4 cup of raw food (don’t add to hot oatmeal - to avoid cooking the raw food) and and a dose of Nordic naturals fish oil (top quality sardine oil). Since I started feeding him this - the coughing from collapsed trachea is almost completely gone…he typically now only coughs during peak allergy season or after extended zoomies.I’ve noticed a lot of bad reviews regarding the crumbled food mixed throughout. I was initially annoyed by this - with the price. My dog eats the crumbles just as fast as the chunks of food. I think this is what you get when food is freeze dried.As long as this food is available, I will be buying it! It doesn’t meet my budget, but I’ll do anything for my little boy.

After trying many dog foods, my 9-year-old has officially settled on this one. I mix it in with his kibble on days when he’s not getting human-grade meals, and he always eats it enthusiastically.The size and texture are just right - soft enough for his mouth that’s now missing 15 teeth, but still substantial. The pieces aren’t too hard or crumbly, and they blend well with other food.I also love the quality: clean, recognizable ingredients and a raw boost without committing fully to a raw-only diet. The taste clearly wins him over - he picks these pieces out first! High-quality, balanced, and a big hit in our house.

my dog is a pom and we have gone through so many kinds of food. She is 7 lbs with a tiny mouth. She doesn't seem to like the lamb much but likes the beef. I crush it up in my hands a little so its easier for her to eat. She does not like it wet so I feed it dry to her to pick on. only downside is its pricey.

This is the best topper I have ever tried! My dog is a rescue GSD. When I first got her, she was so so stressed she wouldn’t eat. To top it off, she was underweight and wouldn’t eat. I talked to my vet about it, but my vet agreed the dog was too stressed to eat. I tried feeding her in different places, but it didn’t help. To get her to eat, I had to physically touch her and try to coax her into eating. I eventually tried toppers which helped. She still didn’t eat as much as she needed, but she ate more. At one point, I bought every sample size topper at the pet store to try to get her to eat. It still took 3 weeks before she finished her first bowl.However, these were magic! She was drooling over the bowl and was so excited she started sniffing around the entire kitchen looking for more food! After eating her toppers, she even picked the bowl up and kept it!I highly recommend these to anyone who has difficulty keeping their dog interested in food or just to mix things up. They are pricier, but I feel good knowing that good ingredients are in them. Also, my dog seems to be able to taste the difference in human grade meat. She responds much better to human grade meat and is a lot more excited about it. Overall, your dog will love it.

My dog loves the turkey flavored. He's an extremely picky dog when it comes to his food and absolutely loves this brand. We get the open farm grain free kibble as well. Thank goodness I found a food that he will actually eat and is quality as well!!!!
