Works great while safe for pets paws

I bought this stuff just in time for a little snow event and it worked great! I shoveled the walkway, sprinkled it on, and by the time I was done cleaning off the car the walk was clear and dry. I admit I had a sense of pride looking around seeing I was the only one who had properly cleared my walkway. It was a great little middle age suburbanite accomplishment. Anyway, I didn’t want 50 pounds of ice melt sitting around because winters aren’t what they used to be, so the 12 pound jug worked perfect for my needs. Highly recommended.

Actually melts snow and ice. We just had a major winter storm. I try to buy paw safe ice melt so as to not harm my dog's paws. Most don't do much, but this "paw friendly" ice melt, actually melted the ice and my Golden is not bothered at all by it.

In a bit of a cold spell...the real feel is in mid teens. I shoveled front steps, sprinkled it on , and in no time the stairs were just wet. Good price, too.
