Great fit, looks like it could be cotton
The fit of the shirt is perfect; this is the happy medium between loose fitting and skin-tight clothing. I'm wearing a medium size, and I'm 5'9" tall, 165 lb, 39" chest, 32" waist for reference. I was worried that the shirt was polyester and NOT cotton. A lot of polyester clothing has a tacky shininess to it. However, if you see this in real life, and maybe you can tell from the pictures, but it looks like it can pass for cotton. The shirt is pretty low friction, and combine that with the thumb loops, and it makes it really easy to slip outerwear on top. The thumb loops are stretchy/elastic, and they retract back into the sleeve when not in use. In terms of looks and fashion, the shirt exudes a simple, no-nonsense, clean dad sort of look. The seams look nice and add character to an otherwise plain shirt. One important thing to note is that there are two VERY DIFFERENT styles to choose from: the square waffles, and the diamond waffles. The negative reviews all seem to stem from the diamond patterned waffles. The one I have on is the square patterned waffles. The one thing people have been saying negatively about this thermal, and it's true, is that the cloth is relatively thin and lightweight. However, it still somehow does a surprisingly good job of keeping warm air in and cold air out. I've tested this outdoors while running, and while my hands were getting numb from the cold, I was still warm. I'll update this review later if the shirt gets any wear and tear over time.

Literally My Favorite Shirt - I Want One For Each Day of the Week
First, I've tried to attach a few pics to generally show what the fit is like -- a little loose for a thermal layer but in a comfortable way while still being plenty warm. I'm built a little big right now, and please forgive the blur, it was tough to get a good angle and take a pic the shirt on myself. That said, I also included two pics, flash and without, to show the waffle pattern. I saw a few reviews which mentioned that this shirt no longer was shipping with with waffle pattern and instead some cheap poly-based material. This is false, at least for the black one I ordered. This is by far the most comfortable base layer shirt I've ever owned, I want to wear this all day, every day. The only reason I haven't gone back and bought literally five more of these is because I'm in the process of loosing weight and not sure if I'll still be an XL or go down to an L when I'm finished. Otherwise, if you're looking at this shirt, just buy the damn thing. The fit, material, quality of build, price for what you get... everything I could comment on is 10/10. One of my favorite shirts in my wardrobe, and will be buying enough for me to wear one every day of the week once I get down to my weight goal. LOVE THIS SHIRT!

Large textured sheer.
Overall a good fit. Not a tight/stretched forearm/wrist Fitment the photo would have you think. Definitely more relaxed fit.We will see after washing. But 100% poly shouldn’t shrink much.Length is good, textured fabric and seam construction is good.Fabric is sheer. You can see through it.So it’s ether a base layer needing a cover up or an over layer needing something under it.Being larger grid fabric it should breathe well. Not sure about warmth holding being so open/sheer.Next winter will tell.Likely will layer under a T. Or over a stretchy base.Sale price is appropriate value.

Love these.
Fit very well, last and hold up. The thumb string is a bit annoying.. but I love these! Highly suggest to keep warm in the winter. Oh… the side tag sucks! But smart enough they used extra stitching!! So you can carefully cut those threads and won’t mess up the shirt.

Great base layer
Great basic base layer. My husband uses it for skiing. It’s light weight, but keeps him plenty warm.

A Bit More Upscale Than A Typical Long-Sleeve Thermal Shirt
Long-sleeve thermal shirts are part of my routine attire during the colder months in Atlanta. These Carhartt shirts are quite nice, with a good fit (slim-looking) and feel. More expensive than some other thermal shirts, but worth it in my view.

Slim fit, nice long length. Washes and dries without shrinking
Nice slim fit long length, washes well and dries in dryer without shrinking. Have worn and washed many times and feels like new. No pilling, has thumb holes for running fyi. Would recommend.
