I was having trouble with my DSL. The tech said the line inside my home was too noisy (it tested fine out side of my house - at the phone network box). I had no choice but to shorten the distance from my dsl modem to the network box. After doing so, I was still getting DSL drop outs with resyncs taking up to 4 minutes. I decided to convert the break out jack (4 screws) to an RJ11 male that I could plug directly into my modem. This eliminated one coupling and it did the trick, my errors went away. So yeah, I bought this tool in order to crimp 1 lousy RJ11 jack/ I bought the cheapest crimper I could find and it worked like a charm.

This is great for making your own Ethernet cables.The only issue I've had is the casing stripper makes it too easy to cut into the wires as well. It's certainly not a deal breaker, but if something were made to lock the correct size in place (this could exist on the tool and I'm too lazy to find out) it would be easier. I just use my pocket knife for case strippingI've only used the 8 pin RJ-45 crimping slot but it works as intended. I haven't had any issues but look out for things such as crimping too far and breaking the cap or not crimping enough to have a solid connection.The cutting portion works as intended.. it's just a razor blade.Bonus feature: Tool feels solid enough to be used as a club for home Invaders in the event they catch you with your wires exposed.

Received this ethernet crimping tool and I just make my first cat6 cable with no fail. About half a year ago I bought a cat6 cable for my ps4 but I always lost connection when playing online games, which turned out to be the cable’s problem. You know how annoyed it is. About one week ago I saw this tool and thought about making a cable by myself. When received this, I was surprised by the quality, really solid build. The rj45 crimp worked very well, also no problem cutting and stripping. I have never used this kind of tool before but I did it in only about half an hour without any failure. It is so easy to use. I tried playing some games, it turned out it works well. I’m planning to make a telephone cable as well. Will update about that. Thanks to VCELINK. This one is REALLY good.

Except for micro-sized instructions, I was able to Whip out 6 LAN plugs in 20 minutes.
