Surprisingly good results - I'm a fan
UPDATE! In my original review, I had complained about how poorly the product dissolves. I now have a trick. I keep it in the freezer. This has solved two problems. One is that it dissolves more easily. Not sure why. The other is that it doesn't get caked in high humidity, because the freezer is low humidity. This has made the jar last longer and it's good till the last dose. Changed to five stars! Here's the original review, but I changed the section on taste. Thought I'd give beet power a try, based on reviews here, and articles I have seen recently. I was skeptical, and didn't expect to experience great results, but I was wrong.I tried BeetElite about an hour or so before a couple of runs, and I felt great during and after the run. My energy level was high, and my pace a bit faster than normal. Placebo effect? Maybe. But there's more.I also tried BeetElite before a couple of CrossFit-like classes. People in the class commented that they wished they could bottle my energy. This was where I really felt the BeetElite was a help. I was hefting more weight than normal, doing more reps, and I felt great. And although I experienced some post-class muscle pain, it was less than normal, and I still achieved more in class. I think this is beyond placebo.I use it before cycling now, and get the same great results. Good energy, no "wired" feeling, just feel great.Taste. I have gotten used to it the more I use the product. When I first tried it, I thought it was super "beety,", but on my fifth jar and I like it now. I use 10 grams or two scoops. AND.....No stomach upset!I'm glad I don't need to drink a big glass of this to get results. I will definitely buy it again.

Anything is better than eating beets...
I wanted to try BeetElite (aka SuperBeets by the same company) because Andrew Wilkow from XM/Sirius radio advertises it. I got the black cherry flavor because I know I hate the taste of beets. I have been using BeetElite for a few weeks and I am sleeping better and feel better during the day plus my blood pressure has dropped to normal. Like many people who begin to use heath products, I have recently started dieting and changing my eating habits along with using this product and another veggie type drink. Therefore I can't say that BeetElite is the sole reason for my improvement but with the benefits of eating beets in a quick drink, I'm sure the product is helping. Buy the 40 scoops for the cheaper price- it is the same product.TASTE: The powder is so fine, I'm pretty sure it's microscopic. It mixes very easily and there is no grit. They recommend mixing with just enough liquid to take down in a single shot or gulp. I highly recommend this too (I do two gulps). The initial taste is OK but the after-taste sometimes makes me shiver. The drink is easily tolerable but definitely not 'delicious' as I've heard. The can says to ONLY mix with water. I checked with them and you can mix with any liquid as long as it isn't acidic (which would 'kill' some of the nutritional crystals). I mix mine with either grape or orange Powerade Zero and the extra flavor really helps out.

IT WORKS.
A lot of the other athletes on our team had been using this so I thought I'd give it a try. While nothing will make you superman, this definitely made a noticeable difference in my stamina when it comes to riding my bike. After being off the bike all winter I was struggling big time to keep up with the pack. But drinking this stuff definitely helped. I noticed being able to push harder for longer than when not using it. I've tried other workout powders and they usually make me want to puke in the midst of my work out. This didn't do that. The taste isn't great but its tolerable for what you get from it. 8 beets in one serving!? Even if not using it for working out, it does give you a pop of energy without that nasty shaky feeling that other pre-workout mixes give you because they are loaded with caffeine. I have my first 100 mile gravel ride (in over a year) tomorrow, so we'll have to see how I do on this stuff.

Tastes great, works fast, energy and stamina
The media could not be loaded. I’ve tried 5-6 different beet powders and so far this is the only one that gives me a pump.Definitely had more energy and stamina. After 15 mins of taking it I felt my forearms get a pump, so I knew the nitric oxide in my body was rising. Not to mention a blood flow increase to the penis.I didn’t think I would feel a energy boost but I did. I bought the original black cherry one.Doing cardio felt almost effortless and after 30mins I could have gone another 30.The flavor was subtle and smooth. Not a heavy beet flavor at all. Some beet powders tastes very beety and earthy. The amount of sweetness is on point, just enough to make it taste good.if you are someone who doesn’t eat enough vegetables and fruits and loves processed foods. You probably need it the most because your nitric oxide levels are dangerously low.The powder mixed easily and effortlessly. Some beet powders clump and have bits of pieces of beets, this DOES NOT.Keep the lid on tight. If you have a high humidity home or city, place container In a ziplock bag or fridge.Nitric oxide diminishes as you get older. This can be due to a lack of exercise, vegetable consumption, fruit intake and lifestyle.Basically your blood vessels or endothelial lining becomes dysfunctional, leading to other issues.Eat more green leafy vegetables, more berries, and watermelons! Eat the white of the rind! Eat more citrus fruits and eat the rind of oranges if organic and washed.Remember, heart disease is the number one killer world wide. It takes Average 30-45 years of abuse/lifestyle for it to kick in.So if you eat crap, don’t exercise, 35-50 years old, It’s time to re-evaluate and make some changes.Good luck and start researching
