I bought this a few weeks ago and liked it so much I bought another, which arrived today. They are for using in the theme parks in Florida later this year. However, having decided to try the bag on to see how it feels I realised that the shoulder straps are way too long. It isn't possible to shorten them sufficiently which results in the bag hanging quite low on the back and not sitting snug like I first thought it would. This makes the "secret" pocket ,which is at the side of the back, unable to be used for anything of value as anyone behind could easily reach around and open it. This is a real shame as the bag itself feels and looks great and is very roomy. I will most likely send the second one back due to the strap issue.

My husband brought a drawstring bag but when it was delivered he opened it he was disappointed it was nothing like the picture that made him buy it. He thought it wouldn't last long if he used it constantly for work. He said it's not worth sending it back after paying post and packing. I was on Amazon I thought I'd go on the drawstring rucksacks page I came up on this one I read the reviews and they said it was worth buy so I brought it I Know it was more than I'd pay for one. When it was delivered i was not disappointed it was big the drawstring was better it was foam not string so it wouldn't keep coming off his shoulder's there's a zip inside it My husband used it that night no complaint's when he came home so well worth buying this one well worth all the stars.

Lovely rucksack! The burgundy colour is just like in the picture but it's a shame that the straps in mine are a lighter shade of burgundy, and not the lovely black from the picture - oh well, it'll still be fine, I suppose. The lining in mine is dark brown, and it's got one zippered and two open pockets inside, in addition to the two outside pockets. I think this will be a perfect rucksack for day strolls in towns or short walks in the countryside, especially when it's rainy. I have just tried dripping some water onto it and watched what happens: the droplets kept sitting on top for as long as I watched (about 5 minutes) and didn't move, however when I wiped them off, the fabric underneath was a bit darker, suggesting it had soaked up a little bit of the water. So I think this is not as watertight as PVC-covered tarpaulin would be, but I also cannot imagine rain would get actually through this material, partly because the water would just pearl off, and partly because the material is actually quite thick, and the bag has a lining of similar material. So I'm still really pleased with this bag, and look forward to being able to transport my books and papers now without constantly getting them damp in the English rain.

Just got this yesterday and very happy about it! I do a lot of trips abroad and most low cost flight these days only allow one cabin luggage - which is quite a bummer because you'd still need to pack in a small bag to carry around the city while there. Usually I just take a canvas tote which is very light and doesn't take much space in my carry-on luggage, but it's not exactly suitable for hiking or longer day-trips. And most backpacks are bulky and takes up too much space in your luggage. THIS ONE though! Folds into practically nothing, is spacious, and uses thick material so seems quite sturdy for how portable it is. I'm so glad to have bought this for my upcoming trips. Let's see how sturdy it actually is after my upcoming trip. Will report back.

A well made gym sack with more pockets than I expected! Thick/double walled material which you can tell will last. Great colour too.

Great bag, sturdy, very well made, Plenty of room inside and genuinely fantastic for the price! BUT the devil as always is in the detail. (draw straps) they're shiny ...and edge into the realm of slightly pink. (So.... pink and shiny) ARGH !!! My 11-year-old son instantly took one look and said "its a girls bag". So be warned. Apparently, it is officially a girls bag. Who Knew??

Purchased as a pe bag for my son, as the usual school versions weren’t big enough. This is great! Good sizing (fits full tracksuit, T-shirt, shorts and trainers with excess room), internal and external pockets are super handy and the bag is really comfortable for him to wear with the wider straps. Has been worn in the rain and everything stayed dry so that’s an added bonus!Recently purchased a second bag for us to use on days out.
