Really good, nice flavor and convenience
I have bought these several times and the packets are super convenient to bring to work and add some nice flavor to my lunch. The Extra Spicy ones are also really good too

Pretty good
I like the size. I can eat the whole thing in one sitting. It's not as flavorful as I was expecting. I don't do spicy well but this is not even spicy by my standards. But it is tasty and hopefully has the good probiotics in it that I'm looking for.

The real deal
You either like Korean Kim chi or you don't. If you don't, you need not read this. But if you do, let me tell you that Jongga Kim chi is the real deal, just like mom used to bury in the backyard. It's got good flavor, a nice, midrange spiciness, and a wonderfully crunchy texture. I ended up eating the whole full can before I knew it. One caution: the pull top does not come off easily. I used pliers to remove it. Be careful! But do not let that stop you. This cabbage is worth the trouble!

Not Bad at All
Updated review Jan. 2025. Just discovered the “best by” date was last month. I bought this in June and didn’t eat it all. When I saw “shelf-life” on the front of the package, I assumed it would maintain its freshness longer than six months. I ended up giving 5 bags away today. The cabbage is fermented so it should be okay if opened soon. It will just be more sour tasting, which I don’t like. So, better to eat this shortly after you receive it and not wait as long as I did.Turned out better than expected. Ate it as a side dish after chilling. The overall flavor wasn’t strong at all nor spicy. There wasn’t an overpowering sour taste. The texture of the Napa cabbage was soft with a slight crunch. The packet size is just right to go with a meal or two. Convenience when you’re unable to get the genuine Kimchi at the store.

Just spicy enough
Although it says spicy, it's not "Asian" spicy. I've had Vietnamese kimchi which made my ears burn, but this Korean brand is just right. (I'm an American.) Delicious and will buy it again.

The "mild"one with carrots isn't very good, tastes boiled.
This was my 1st try with Jongaa brand kimchi. I got the "mild" one that has "extra carrots", in the packets. It's by far the worst kimchi I've ever had, compared to the many Korean restaurants in my city, and the jarred, refrigerated kinds at the grocery store. Has a strong taste and texture of boiled carrot/cabbage soup, with some, decent Kimchi flavor. Kimchi isn't normally cooked, it's just fermented but this is cooked, probably so it can be "shelf -stable", in cans or packets. The flavor isn't terrible, its just not great. It would be okay for camping, if you have limited fridge space or prepping for a blackout, but for everyday use, I'd strongly recommend the kind of kimchi that you find in glass jars in your grocery's fridge.

Really good Kimchi for the money.
This is one of my favorite brands of Kimchi. The packets are nice size, and great for one person’s meal. The Kimchi itself is fresh tasting, not too salty, and tho I like more spice, it’s easy to add additional. I will always purchase this when it’s available.
