I bought this Japanese Robe for my son for a present. The Robe was better than what i expected, because of the price. He loved it: and I loved it...so much so...that I said I was going to buy one for myself. The quality of the fabric is great, has weight to it, and not flimsy at all. It fit him really well. A small learning curve with the belt though, which took about 20 minute to get right. Overall a wonderful robe, and really great present for any occasion.

I love kimonos…and have a lot and have worn them for years. I’m 5’10” and weigh 149 pounds. I only wear long ones that go to the ground. This one does NOT. It goes to just below my mid shin. It wraps around me FAIRLY loosely but not as much as I like. If I were an inch taller ir ten pounds heavier it would be too small—-so BE CAREFUL. Measure first! It domes with a very HIGH quality belt. It is a good quality polyester. It does not look cheap or inexpensive. But if you are taller then 5’10” and weigh more then 155 or 160, and you want a kimono ankle length and very loose and full, this probably won’t work for you.

Great for hot climates!

1. The belt makes no sense. I’ve looked for turorials everywhere for how to tie a pre-tied obi knot belt, and the only one that exists has a belt with a velcro on the other strap of the pre-tied not, so that won’t work. The description never said there would be one of a kind weird velcro belt With no instructions.2. The armholes are tied together halfway down. Makes this less breathable. Also not explained in description.3. The material is not that breathable. I was sweating by the time I gave up trying to figure out how to put the belt on.Will be returning

Es tal como se ve en las fotos, se siente suave, me gustó mucho el estampado. Me gustaría que fuese más largo, que llegara hasta los pies, y que las mangas estuvieran totalmente abiertas y no parcialmente cómo es el caso de este diseño. Tenía muchos hilos sueltos.

nice fabric and fits well

This product fits perfectly. The design is nice, material looks and feels decent. My only complaint is that there are no instructions for the obi belt. It’s got some strange pre-tied knot and Velcro that makes it more complicated than just tying an obi belt from scratch. I would have preferred to have instructions or a normal obi belt. I gave it 3 stars because I will now have to find and buy a new matching obi.

Very nice quality but belt/belts a nightmare and useless. Smaller belt is too short and large belt over engineered and is heavy and doesn't stay put therefore useless. Don't recommend
