If you Live in a State or city surrounded Mountains, heed with caution:
I live in Colorado, and I think this is a very good antenna, it is just that the Mountains interfere with receiving all of the local channels. Channel ABC and CBS have the weakest reception. Other than that, I still feel it was a good purchase. Kevin B. Aurora, CO.

You'll do better with a coathanger
Never returned an item faster.......I live in an area where we are about 20-30 miles from broadcast TV antennae. I have an antenna bought at Best Buy 3-4 years ago for $40 that works pretty well but gets choppy in bad weather and doesn't always get Fox. I was looking at this Onh model as an "upgrade". Does not work at all, reception is actually better with no antenna. Believe me, I tried everything and I always assume user error as a possibility.Item is a rectangle of floppy plastic with a "sticker" for sticking to wall or window. Instructions were laughable, broken English and sentence fragments (probably derived from Google translator or something).

super impractical; or good for short people and floor TV's
This is the 3rd digital antenna I've tested (Winegard FL-55YR FlatWave- works amazingly well for me; and the amplified HDTV 1byone- was just ok) and in my home for whatever reason; the onh hdtv amplified indoor antenna performed the worst of the three.I live in silicon valley- 30 miles from San Francisco and 20 miles from San Jose in an area without any hills. This was the first antenna where I needed to use the amplifier to get the standard broadcasting stations- CBS, ABC, FOX etc. and even with the amplifier, the signal was weaker than the other two without the amp. Antennas can vary to large degrees depending on many different variables; so this isn't necessarily indicative of how it would perform for you, or even the guy down the street from me. So grading it based on that seems a bit unfair; as this is just my experience. That said, the following isn't isolated to my experience only- the cord attached to the amplifier is just over 3 feet long (38 inches). Meaning, if your TV is more than 3 feet off the ground; you're going to need an extension cord to plug this into a wall outlet. It's 1) not a great look, in particular in your living room to have an extension cord dangling a few feet off the floor and 2) a very strange decision to use a cord obviously too short to use practically.

Thought I would give this a try, but I am located in a difficult area. After locating the local channels and setting up the antenna in the appropriate orientation we were able to get about 6 HD channels. However, depending on the time of day and weather there is still a lot of channel drop out. I tried putting the antenna in several locations with similar results. I tried both with and without the amplifier and to be honest I really saw no difference in performance. Direct TV here we come.

As advertised, easy to install and I am able to get many channels very clear.

Worth the price.
Great 1080i picture. No interruptions in signal. Very simple packaging and really easy to connect. Only thing is the power cord is short for the amplifier so you have to have an outlet right behind your TV. I have a power strip for all my entertainment acessories so it wasn't an issue.

Sent back
Did not pick up any signal even though the tower is within 35 miles of the house. Sent it back.

the reception is not good -- there is a lot of interference on the news stations - which is the only reason I purchased it. My Ration from stations is just over 25 miles therefore I bought the 50 mile antenna but I guess the strength is still not good enough
