Not much to say except this is so much better than the traditional can opener. No sharp edges, and you can put the lid back on if you don't use the entire can. It just works. Grips the can tightly and the design is very ergonomic. Light weight but durable.

The media could not be loaded. Love this lightweight can opener. I'm used to can openers with two handles, so I was surprised when I saw this one with one handle. I found it to be very easy to use. Place the can opener with the half-circle/loop on top of the can. There seems to be a magnet that attaches and holds onto the can. Sometimes I can hear a click, but once the can opener is in place, the can is secure. As the knob is turned, the can opener goes around the can and will cut the lid, leaving a smooth edge. It's a nice space saving can opener that works great! I'm not sure about the rust resistance because I wash and completely dry the can opener as soon as I'm finished using it.

This is a nice opener of the newer type that lifts the entire lid rather than cutting it. This lets you use the lid to close the can if you only use half of it and put the remainder back in the refrigerator without using and then having to wash another container.It has an efficient mechanism that is easy to turn which is important for me since I have some arthritis in my hands. It is well worth the modest price. I might even buy some more as gifts for some older friends.

It works as intended.The smooth textured rubber handle screams luxury compared to standard can openers.I couldn't believe that this is part of Amazon Basic lines. My hands didn't know the experience of opening a can could be so luxurious until now (for the price point).Now granted pending on how big the can you're opening the turning still requires the usual strength but holding the can opener in place with your left hand felt like being in a first class seat on an airline but for your hand.Disclaimer: I never rode on a first class seat on an airline as it was a hyperbole, but that kind of imagination what could've felt like I felt like when using this can opener.Will it change your life? Possibly but I didn't think of the experience using this can opener, until I did this review.Excuse me as I look for some cans to open.

It lasted Ok for 3 1/2 years - but now it does not work at all.
