It tastes like earth, it cured my PICA instantly.
It taste like earth, it cured my PICA instantly. I just have this overwhelming urge to eat Earth. It's all I think about at 36 weeks pregnant. I ordered this out of desperation and when I took my first bite it tasted a Little strange. But the earth aroma flavor kicked in and it was perfect! The grit in some spot are thicker sometimes, and in some spot it's harder. That is to be expected and is no issue for me. Taking smaller bites and letting the dust from biting it float for a bit in you mouth makes the taste more satisfying.I bought more, and I'm going to stock up so I don't run out ever again.

Let it air out and it tastes earthy and not chewy. Tastes perfect for pica. I don’t swallow it, just chew and spit out.

SO GOOD …. But
Earthy … crunchy … not too hard.I absolutely loveddddd these . This was my first time trying them .I wouldn’t swallow , just chew and spit out.However … I noticed after a day i obtained an allergic reaction to them . Itchy throat , itchy ears … headache. Bummer… because these are so good

Don’t buy this if you are comparing it to crayola chalk .
Just like other customers say.. it is discolored. No earthy taste…. And the texture is like hard. I thought I would have broke a tooth. Listen to the bad reviews because they are correct. Now I got $30 worth of an item I do not want….

Likes: very crunchy, tastes earthyDislikes: it’s a weird kind of texture after you’ve chewed for a while. Kind of pasty wet clay feeling but also sandy. I also did not get 50 pencils. Which is why I’m giving it three stars.All in all okay product, I’m trying different chalks and slate pencils out to see which ones i like best since i do have pica. This was okay and worth the try! May not order again due to trying out other products. If you’re using them for writing, they are good and sturdy and very durable. Some were a bit harder to bite into so they definitely won’t break easily.Update: they’re amazing and tasty i have ordered many times since my first review.

Amazing
This has been one of the best slates I've ordered! Satifies my PICA cravings. The crunch is perfect and it tastes great, even right out of the package without airing out. It was also packed very well for shipping so it didn't arrive all broken up. Definitely recommend.
