This was a fun little project. We had four under-counter florescent lights in our kitchen, and we hated those things - take 2 seconds to fire up and then they buzzed and flickered, all while giving off a ghostly blue/green tinged bright white light. Not just yesterday's technology, but from everyone's nightmare of an office. So these little guys just pop right into the old sockets. Of course, you have to rewire around the old/existing ballast. I hadn't done anything like that before but it was super easy - just follow the diagrams. A couple of snips, a couple of wire screws and maybe 10 minutes per fixture (20 for the first one and 5 for the last two). Very happy with the results: simple, immediate, silent bright white light. My wife thought they were a little too bright so I covered the inside of the plastic diffuser panels with 2" wide standard masking tape. Now it's a softer white, really nice.

I'm so happy with this purchase even though it was a little more expensive than what I wanted to spend. It's been hard to find this size of light that is super bright, but these are it! They were super easy to install. I don't know how long they will last because I've only had them a month; but I love the brightness.

Easy installation

Installed these over the weekend in an old ballast that I had to tear open to make compatible for LED. But it was totally worth it as these bulbs are much brighter. Not sure how long they will last, as Amazon light bulbs have been pretty disappointing so far, but fingers crossed

I used these LED light tubes to replace 40-year-old fluorecent ligts in my garage. They work well and are noticeably brighter than the lights they replaced. It me long took me about 3 hours to install four tubes because each light neing replaced had a both a starter and a ballast. Note:: The wiring nuts needed to do the rewiring are not included.

Bought these led bulbs 18 months ago & now one bulb has failed. I’m not satisfied with the bulb life.Update: Managed to contact the seller (it took a bit of searching to find a way to send a message) about the problem & they promptly sent a replacement. Great customer service!

I received the lights and have to say I am very impressed. After reading the quick directions I was able to cut the wires, remove the ballast and rewire each light in a matter of 5 minutes. Way easier than I thought it would be. Definitely would recommend these lights as they emit a beautiful bright light.

These are wonderful. We replaced fluorescent bulbs and got triple the light for less cost to run. We kept the old fixture and taking off the ballast and doing a little retiring did the trick by my not an electrician but handy husband. Saved us from buying a new fixture.
