First off - It works very well, just as advertised. It is a bit larger than I imagined and is not good for carrying in a shirt pocket (or even pant's pocket). However the size and construction make it ergonomic and easy to use, and will also likely contribute to its durability. I bought two for me (and two for my wife) so we both could have one for home and one for travel (mine stays in the car) or to leave at work. It seems a bit pricey for what it is, but based on other reviews it may be worth it. In fact, I bought a similar product a while back for half the price and it was not durable and it did not clean the glasses nearly as well as this device. I like that it has a brush to dust off the lenses before cleaning them to prevent scratches from surface materials like sand that might not be obvious. This works much better than my old habit of searching for a paper towel, tissue, or using my shirt tail, all of which were inconvenient and only seemed to to smear the smudges instead of cleaning them off - which this does very nicely. If your lenses are actually very greasy as mine get since I wear them while cooking you will still need to clean them with lens cleaning solution and a lens wipe - but for everyday smudges - which I get constantly - this works great. 5 stars.

I'm not sure why some people have complained about how this works. We both tried it today and it cleaned our glasses just great! Crystal clear, no smudges left.

This was a pretty good idea. No digging around for an appropriate tissue. As you put it back into its case, there's something that cleans the pads as you slide it close.

So I bought this product because I'm very picky about smudges and dust / hair on my glasses. I also have fibro, so using a traditional eyeglass cloth is often painful or I just can't actually close my hand that far, and wind up with more smudges and streaks than actual cleaning affect.I will say that at first, I struggled to get them clean with this product, it would just smudge more. However, I discovered I could actually clean the little pads on the product itself with the pad inside the case, so just slide it back in and press slightly and it would "self-clean" and then it cleaned perfectly. I have found no need to use any kind of eyeglass cleaning wipes or any other product besides this. I don't even actually use the brush side of this product, just the little pads. I use it for my clunkier sunglasses, as well as my eyeglasses, and it works for both. I haven't noticed that it scratches or causes any kind of damage, and I have been using it for 3 months religiously without any noticeable change in efficiency of use.The only thing I will say is that it is not good if you are driving and need your hands on the wheel. It does take two hands to open and use.I would definitely suggest this to anyone with hand problems or who just doesn't find eyeglass cloths as useful as they ought to be.

I first bought Peeps about 5 years ago and instantly loved them. They were reasonable enough at that time that I bought MANY and gave them away to my friends. To the best of my recollection, they were 3 for $19.99. When I was ready to order more they were $19.99 apiece. That’s fine, I get it. But I have choices and there is an off brand that is way cheaper. I’ll get those…..they SUCKED! They were nothing compared to the original. They cleaned about like your granny’s polyester floral blouse from Blouse Barn. I immediately went back to the real thing. Sadly I can’t treat all of my friends to a Peeps eyeglass cleaner at $20 each, but I can continue to sing the praises of this incredible product.

I will admit I wasn't sure if these would truly work as advertised so remained a bit skeptical, until the 2 I purchased arrived. I read and followed the easy to understand directions, and my glasses, which usually cause me endless frustration due to spots, smudges, smears, etc, have NEVER BEEN SO CLEAN! I am thrilled and so glad I got two - one for my desk, one for my purse. Now I'm ordering them as gifts for people who wear glasses and have everything, they're perfect for those types of folks!

It does not clean smudges. It is very compact and thus portable.
