Heavy little monster!!!
This guitar was a fantastic find and did NOT Disappoint!! In a sea of travel guitars asking prices from $200-1k and up…this mini is just what you are looking for!!...it scratches all the right itches and it’s got a nice heavy sound for those metal songs.!! What a surprise! Exceeded my expectations!!

A little fret work needed. Great for travel
As others have mentioned the frets are sharp. Not hard to file them down.I love the portability. Day after getting it I took it camping. I enjoyed having something I could keep up on practicing with minimal cargo space. One thing about little guitars is if you press down too hard, it goes sharp. So you have to play with finesse. Which I'm okay with, because that's something I need to work on. I grew up playing cheap guitars with high actions. Now that I'm an adult with grown up money, I mash down too hard on better quality instruments. This forces me to work on that.

Cheaper price, cheaper quality
Quality:I bought this guitar as a birthday present for my son. The second time we plugged into the jack, it completely snapped off when we removed the cord. This wasn’t an issue with a loose nut, but the metal in the jack snapped in half and I had to return it. I’ve been playing guitar for 25 years and have never seen anything like this, even on cheap Squier and Epiphone guitars I played in high school. The price recently dropped to $99 on this guitar and I’m guessing there was a change in manufacturing to make it cheaper. I was really looking forward to teaching my son on this and prior reviews looked great, but unfortunately this may not be a viable product anymore.

Excellent practice/travel guitar
Excellent buy for rookie or experienced player to be able to take anywhere.

Not bad
I tuned it to Nashville tuning. Because of the scale length I could tune the b string an octave higher.

Greatness in miniature!
It is a beast! Hottest pickup I've ever heard. Very classy look ( vintage cream). I really like the tone of the lower strings when tone capped. Engaging that tone control full on is powerfully tasty. It is very good retaining highs when rolling back the volume. Awesome sauce! Really a killer axe. Very satisfied, and greatly recommended. Just know you should be very precise in the setup department. Every adjustment counts.Happy rocking!

Needed a little help
Love this guitar. I will say the fret ends were sharp and the frets a little rough. I pulled off the neck, polished the frets and rolled the edges. I also put a clear coat on the head stock to give it a better look. I also bought mine on sale at GC for $175. Probably wouldn't have bought it for$220. Overall off the shelf I'd give it 3 stars.
