A great bargain
It is a good thing to use marine grade wire for any outdoor application. I had a normal stereo and the wire and unit corroded, and it was just a lake boat, stored in doors mostly. The items bought here, it all has worked great, the wire is durable and inexpensize and sounds great.

Great in fresh water.
So far it as lasted a season on my boat. It does not appear to be rusting, or declining in any way, although it is used in fresh water environment, and not salt water.
